Hi
I think you’re missing my point. I’m asking what the short code is.
I’ve already got pages. It’s not for a page – it’ll be going inside a function to pass it through my account. All I need is the shortcode that would render the wish list page.
Is it [xstore_wishlist_page] ?
Thanks
Hiya
Just to confirm – on a newer iPad everything loads perfect and works as it should.
That’s a learning curve for us all – I never would have thought the iOS affected content loading but there we have it, it 100% does. So the theme is confirmed as perfect – older devices will however struggle to load the content.
Thanks again for all your time helping me resolve this – it truly is appreciated. You guys are the best 🙂
awesome – thanks as always!!
Please leave open as I will come back to this later when I get round to it. 🙂
Hiya
That’s fine – I am more a designer and wasn’t too sure if an older device could stop dynamic content – hence was just asking as you’ll likely know more so thanks for confirming what I thought was the issue.
I’ve got a new iPad on order so will test again when that comes – the latest model lol. Thing is I can’t obviously tell the clients customers to buy a new device but anyway – that isn’t our fault sooooo!
Thanks so much for all your help again. 🙂
Thanks ever so much – you guys are the best!
Awesome thank you kindly 🙂
Hi
We are not that amateurish and know for a fact that all links point to our own domain! The only logical explanation here is that it is the Google reCAPTCHA integration within CF7 – as the cookies are referring to google.
Is this something that is to be expected? If so then fine, can stop worrying about it but if not then it’ll need resolving.
Thanks
Hi
I have tried on a real device – that is better than any emulator, example – no emulator can properly show a mobile layout as the browser cannot physically shrink to the mobile breakpoint so emulators are useless in the main. I always check with real devices….
Here is your own demo also not showing any of the static blocks. This is the same demo as my site uses – the glasses elementor theme –> https://i.imgur.com/2ChFQen.jpeg
I am using an older iPad – however surely it should still load the content? I have wiped it clean and then setup a whole new icloud user so it was a blank ipad with no settings etc blocking content.
Now, unless it is the code the only thing would be the iPad cannot show this content… It is running iOS 12 (cannot upgrade as the iPad is too old) – so could that be affecting it?
Please don’t waste hours – was just wondering if there’s a logical reason that an older iOS would stop the latest coding standards displaying properly?
Hi
There is nowhere to add icons – it only allows an image yet should have icons there?

How do we apply icons, ie Xstore icons / fontawesome etc?
Thanks
awesome thank you very much – great job 🙂
Thankfully this issue should be solved – will try and create a new product and then we will know 😀
awesome thank you very much – great job 🙂
Hi
Still the same issue.
Do you have a smaller device that uses screen sizes between 640px -> 991px?
Must be a physical device like an iPad – not an emulator.
If so try and view it on the device portrait view… nothing is loading – all static custom blocks just keeps spinning.
Might be the iOS as it’s an older iPad so I’ve got a new one coming – will update once I re-test with a new one that allows better iOS than 12, which may be why it’s not working right as it’s so outdated and cannot update iOS.
I’ll revert back to this post in a few days.
Thanks.
Hi
Yes I’ve tried everything. You can see the spinners are not loading.
I’ll try on a different iPad Air.
Using an emulator will not replicate these issues. You need a physical device.
It affects every page. Each and every page.
I’ll try a new iPad Air first and update this.
I’m not part of the team but one of my clients wanted similar and I managed to create the desired result using this as a basis. Good luck
Awesome thank you. Perfect.
Last one – how to align left – I guess I need to change display from flex to block but don’t want to mess everything else up.
See private for image once css used.
Thanks again 🙂
Ahh – just tested and set this all up – works perfect!
Nice job – well done. Thanks for your help.
Can close this topic now 🙂
Hi
Has this been added to the update that was released yesterday? If not I’ll send FTP in next reply.
Also, will the shortcode ( [_wishlist_page_url] ) work properly in my custom email embedded in href? i.e. <a href="[_wishlist_page_url]" >View Wishlist</a>
Thanks.
There seems to be a lot on the internet about this – examples below – each one relates to jQuery…

https://tt-inc.org/fix-syntax-error-unrecognized-expression-href-wordpress-avada-theme.html

Thoughts…?
Perfect – works a treat.
Thank you very much – hopefully that’s this issue sorted now lol 🙂
Hi @Rose,
Can you please advise the correct css to fix the 404 page as that is also pulling in the wrong header – see private for info and images. But should not have a grey background so not quite sure what is happening.
Thanks
Hi
No, of course I haven’t as that is utterly futile. I need the plugins. It’s not the plug-ins. I know that much.
@bas_kling
Cheers. I know it’s the theme as I’ve seen others with similar issues – I even quoted your thread in post 3 above – but being honest as all my products are using the same header the css works fine so I’m not overly fussed about a fix. That said, I do need to check .404 page as that was pulling the wrong header too.
Basically, as post 1 describes – I’ve got a header for Homepage only. Transparent. Then a normal one, identical to the homepage one, but in black – for white backgrounds. This is what the products should pull, when I add a new product as the condition for the header is default – all pages. The condition on the transparent homepage is set to page -> single -> home. It works fine.
However when I create a new product, unless it’s in a specific shop category (I only have 7 categories) then it’s pulling the incorrect transparent header across and not the default one, as it should.
Randomly, the 404 page is also showing the transparent header. Weird…
The css from @Rose above basically adds the correct default main menu text colour to all pages excluding homepage (which is transparent). In the normal header settings, you can set the hover colour.
I fixed the ticker background (it’s the margin left / right that creates white spacing) by going into header builder and clicking the cogs on all 3 sections that make the top header, and changing the WCAG background colour.
Hope this helps explain my issue better.
Hi
Oh! Ok thanks. Do you have any idea what plug-in its related to as I did disable them 1-by-1 and it still showed ??
Thanks
Hi
Its fine – will just use the css, same thing really.
Thanks again
Hi
By activating this, will it give me the layout as described in post 1?
Awesome thanks – have requested it -> https://8theme.upvoty.com/b/xstore/types-of-alert-when-adding-to-wishlist-and-adding-to-cart/
Hi
Yes I have tried that and no luck – see private for product page link and login access.
Please keep anything showing my site in private.
Thank you for any help on this. 🙂
Perfect thank you very much.
Can you link me to the changelog you use please with the links to the forum topics as the one on themeforest doesn’t read the same.
Thanks again – perfect!
Hi,
Has this been resolved with the update released earlier today as I cannot see it on the changelog as yet?
The custom css is fine, but just checking the status being a new update was released.
Please advise
Thanks
