I know but every time we get the same answer “It isn’t the theme at fault” but clearly is 🙁
My score on GTMetrix dropped to E since the latest update.
Something in the theme is causing the theme to be slow!

Okay.
All fixed now.
Thank you.
Same issue 🙁
Same issue here 🙁
Thanks.
Can you tell me roughly when the next theme update will come out?
Can you also tell me the new features expected?
Thanks Olga 🙂
Thank you for your response. You’re the best 🙂
1) Not when viewed on a mobile device. It shows a white background. Bug? Edit: This is now fixed. How strange? I just kept doing what I tried the previous 20 times of hitting the publish button when making changes. Mobile view on a mobile device now works fine.
2) Thank you. I look forward to a response.
3) Thanks but how do I do what I want to achieve? Please check with your developer. I can wait until Thursday if required.
4) Thank you. Understood 🙂
Thank you very much!
Really helpful 🙂
You’re amazing.
Problem fixed!
Can you tell me the name of the cached plugin?
I might give it a go…
There are numerous ways to update the theme.
I suggest you look at this https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/ and in particular update your site by following the “Update using Automatic Updates” section.
It is suggested you backup your site before attempting to update the theme.
You may have a backup plugin already installed. Log into WordPress and check your installed plugins. I have a backup plugin called WP File Manager.
If you don’t have a plugin, then try the below:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/
I’ve used it before and it’s great. I’m unable to find a link to the WP File Manager plugin but it doesn’t matter as the above link should help backup your site.
I can see it published.
Thank you!
The footer issue is fixed (I did state this in my last post)…
You often do this with users… Tell them that their site is fast? I’ve just provided you with evidence that my site isn’t fast and for some reason you have moved away from the widely known website GtMetrix to something less common.
I am also disappointed you pointed me to a page to submit a request when you have helped other users with slowness to their site.
Version 7.1 is rubbish and that’s why you’re having to release an update soon after. It wasn’t tested properly because if it were then we wouldn’t have so many people posting problems with version 7.1 in the forum!
My hosting provider has been contacted to fix the slowness parts on their end. I know you mentioned this before but I know you can do things too but just cba.
I’m closing this thread as my hosting provider will take forward your points above. If they don’t know then I’ll tell my 130,000 subscribers to never use them.
Thanks for not helping.
Can you please be more specific on what you need help with?
It will help the staff members for when they get to look at your thread.
Thank you.
Thank you Olga. I managed to fix the footer situation. Your suggestion was great.
All that is left is speed improvements…
Please explain what has been done to address my ridiculously slow loading time? I provided a screenshot of this above so please don’t say it works fine for you… I know to take some issues to my hosting provider but what have you/your colleagues done to address this particular issue? If you need more time then that’s fine but just let me know you/your colleagues are working on it.
Seperately, regarding point 3 the footer is back and the social media icons now display (great) but why does it go strange and then I clear the cache it works. Moments later of editing it goes strange again and I have to clear the cache. What font style should my hosting provider unblock?
Thank you.
No, Olga… I feel insulted you would suggest that. It seems like you closed it as your fantastic colleague Rose Taylor opened it. I really hope you learn from here 🙂
P.S. I have closed this thread. Don’t close my thread again and blame the customer 🙂
I will but can you please let the developer team know it is a bug?
It is clearly a bug as the demo even has the issue.
It works.
Great job!
I’ve closed this thread now 🙂
Thanks.
I’ll close this thread now.
Please try mobile view of my site. Details provided below including URL.
Unable to provide screenshot as difficult to do on phone.
On mobile view you can see wishlist mentioned.
Thank you for your response.
I will get in contact with my hosting provider.
Can you please confirm you have done the speed improvements that you can do? I’ve noticed you’ve helped other users with speed issues and outlined what you have changed. If you could list those changes it would be great.
Also, can you please add the broken footer (footer column 1) back onto my template. I cannot add it as option is greyed out.
Agreed.
Hopefully, a fix will be provided for us.
Yep but I don’t want to use a plugin.
I’d rather the above user just posts the solution.
P.S. No need to respond to me 🙂
If the user posts the solution then great. If not, then not the end of the world 😀
Thank you.
I have the same problem too.
@Rose – Is there a solution? It seems like a bug more than anything if on the demo it is wrong too… Please find a solution for now and report it as a bug so the developer can sort it out properly.
You’re a star.
Thank you very much!
I know how to edit it from here but I just need someone to do the below please:
Speed enhancements to the site…
“We use nginx/1.19.3, PHP version:7.4.11, WordPress memory limit: 256Mb, PHP max input vars: 3000, PHP time limit: 60, MySQL version:5.5.5-10.1.46-MariaDB)”

1) Please ensure my site has the same settings as above or greater and please do anything else necessary to speed up the site. If you cannot match all the settings then please let me know which settings you couldn’t and how I could arrange for it to be done myself.
2) Fix the bottom right button which enables users to scroll up. The button displays fine on Safari (iOS) but not on a desktop. Please report it as a bug too as it has happened to me on the last version of this theme. It’s a bug but I’m sure you can fix it now rather than tell me to wait!
3) Please fix the social media icons in the footer header. It was displaying icons which don’t relate to social media sites. Update: I tried to fix it myself by removing the widget in footer column 1. I then tried to add the widget back but it doesn’t allow me to do so? BUG 🙁
4) Add a widget at the bottom of the page which is a slider of “Google Reviews”. I can link the correct page after.
Can you please share the solution?
That’s a shame.
I have suggested to add it as a feature.
Idea submitted.
Thank you.
Thanks but I still think a closed FAQ thread which is stuck to the top of the forum would work wonders or especially a bugs list! That would be SO helpful for us customers!
Do you think this could be actioned before Tuesday?
I need this demo installed (childs theme please)
https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/landing/
And I don’t want WPBakery installed. Elementor would do just fine.
Thank you.
