Hi Olga,
The problem I have is that I removed the class statement for an attachment field in the contact form however it is still showing an asterix at the end of the title even though the field is not required, i.e. the form will submit with or without an attachment.
So, I’m trying to remove the asterix at the end of the title of the attachment field.
The form entry I have is,
[file your-attachment filetypes:gif|png|jpg limit:2mb]
Thanks
All appears good now.
My error – wrong user!
Correct info in private area.
Thanks
Ian
Hi Olga
I’ve used that shortcode before with a Storefront theme and it worked fine.
I’ve inserted the shortcode you suggested and I’m afriad I’m getting the same results. Not really sure what is going on, I’m sure it is something simple I’ve missed!
I’ve added my login details to the private content area…
The page is ajw.procreative4web.com/on-sale
Thanks
Ian
Hello Olga
Fantastic! I’ve discovered that the ‘Honeypot for Contact Form 7’ was causing the memory problem. I’m so grateful for your advice on how to identify my issue.
As usual the team at Xstore have come up trumps again. Fantastic support, really really appreciated.
Hi Olga
I’ve checked the User and password for FTP and they are correct in the private area. Have ftp’d into the site using Filezilla with these credentials just now Ok.
I’m setting up a Sendinblue account using the plugin WP Mail SMTP so will see if this corrects my issue.
Also have changed the from email address in WooCommerce to an email address from the site domain and am now getting emails for orders, etc.
So, looks like that is the solution thanks.
Thank you
Have cleared the cache and now all looks good.
Hello
Looks fine now thanks.
Was it something that I did wrong?
Thank you
Hi
Requested details in the private area, thanks
OK no worries
Thank you for your help in resolving the issues.
Fantastic! Looking good now thanks.
As far as I can see it is all back.
What plugin do you recommend for back-ups?
Many thanks
Ian
I have databse and theme files backed-up, would you suggest that I restore them – this would mean activating updraft to do so. Also I see that error reporting on-screen is still set – presummably by yourselves.
Are you still editing my site? I now see that the configuration of my Home page has dissappeared! You must be doing something.
Whatever you have done has messed up the configuration of my site! I can’t believe that my trying Storefront as requested and reverting to Xtheme woould have resulted in the loss of theme configuration and I checked that it looked ok afterwards. But it no longer looks like the way it was previously configured, screenwidth/menus/colour scheme, etc, etc.
I see that you have also left error reporting on screen configured?
Can you help please as the site is due to go live shortly?
I do have recent back-ups made with updraft.
Hi Rose
I’ve uploaded the error log to dropmefiles as requested and inserted th url in the private content section.
Just spotted that now that I’ve gone back to your theme my site does not retain the same settings and looks wrong – are you able to correct please?
I tried the storefront theme and I can edit products normally. So, it would appear that the error has occured since I upgraded your theme and plugin recently?
Incidentally the error message has changed a little since I spoke to iPage and they checked the PHP setting and investgated the error. It now says, “Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0”
I don’t know if that helps at all?
Hello
I’ve spoken to my hosting provider and the have provided the cgi error log. How is the best way for me to provide you access to it? Can I email it to you as an attachment or attach it somehow to these forum messages?
Thanks
Ian
Thank you
Hello
Yes fixed thanks.
What did you have to do?
Many thanks
Ian
You have the wrong username for FTP, should be NHCShop1 – my error!
Hello
I tried disabling the cache plugin but this didn’t have any effect on the issue.
I’m finding that if I clear the cache and reload the home page the slider works. If i then go to another page and back to the home page the slider won’t load until the home page is reloaded again. Also some of the ‘You may also like’ products on the user dashboard are not loading in the slider until you scroll right.
I’ve put my FTP details in the private area so you can take a look – caching plugin still disabled.
Consistently works properly with Chrome.
Thanks
Hi Olga
When I cear the Firefox cache and reload the page the slider works but then once I go into the WordPress dashboard and back out, or to another page and back it has stopped loading again. It is very strange as it has been working perfectly up until a few days ago.
Also when no one is logged in reloading the current page seems to get the sllider working ok.
Hi
Understood.
Sorted now thanks.
Thank you
Wow, that was quick!
That’s great thanks very much.
