I cleared the cache and it still is like that on home page.
What I noticed is that it shows correctly at first, but if you keep hovering over it for like 5 seconds or more it changes to the other version…
please let me know if you can replicate it.
I just tried turned on minify and got this error from W3TC:
Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS / JS minify cache: File “/home/ringso5/public_html/wp-content/themes/royal/custom.css” doesn’t exist.
I think actually that my problem has to do with maybe this missing / or spooky custom.css file.

After doing what you suggested, I managed to get back a lot of translations.
However, I updated all WPML plugins, and now the strings say that they “need to be updated”. So I don’t have any strings translated again.
The strings are there and translated but not showing on front end. Please see the one that you asked me to translate, that one is now not translated again.
What might be the problem this time.. ?

It seems like this did the trick. When I rescanned a lot of old translations appeared. Great!
However for instance the string “Product Description” on the single product page I cannot translate. Seen here:

According to the string translator the royal string for this is supposed to be translated, but it is not.
How can I translate that string and potentially others that have the same issue?

Well, even if you can see it correctly in the front end, those are not Royal theme strings. We can’t see the theme in WPML anymore, so something is very wrong. It doesn’t find any strings from the theme anymore. So the strings we have translated are from theme twentytwelve and WordPress.. Royal theme does not even appear anymore..

Yes it is working now. It was the WPML plugin that had changed the string translations so I changed them from produkt-kategori to produktkategori and now it is all working.

Ok well it is translated now.
However, if you go into WPML >> Theme and plugins localization >> Strings in the Theme..
Normally, the Royal theme would show up there.. Now it is not showing up there anymore.
Do you know why?

I find it very strange the whole thing.
So now I see that when I make a search among blog posts. On the top it says:
Search results for: …
I wanted to translate that, and the only string I found was in the twentyfourteen theme.
I translated that, and now it shows the translation.
Somehow WP is choosing the strings for twentyfourteen as the woocommerce strings..
Why does this happen? it should not be like this right?
Why I am asking is because I thought WPML plugins were compatible..

Ok, there seems to have been a glitch of some sort.
It is working fine now.
What I needed to do for those who wonder is:
Go into one of the product that you have changed the price for.
See so that the new price is reflected among the variations. It was for me.
Now update that product.
This made all the products change their price within the category selected for price increase.
After having done that one time, I never had to do that again. Plugin worked with the theme well.
