What seems to be happening is that both the mobile header and the desktop header are appearing. On mobile the main desktop header should not appear, but it is. On desktop, the mobile header shouldn’t show.

i am still seeing the double header. i checked in a browser I haven’t looked in before so I don’t think it is browser cache.

I see the ‘normal’ header with the logo and menus, but then the rest is repeated – two lines of text in the pink bar, a second smaller logo and a hamburger menu.

Is this not what you are seeing? Debbie

Also on Mobile the logo has disappeared from the header.

    Hi,

The cloudflare is a service offered by Siteground who hosts the website, it doesn’t seem to offer a plugin. I thought it was in the SG Optimizer plugin but I have to log on to my host cpanel to access it. File manager for FTP is also in Cpanel. I attach the details. Thank you, Debbie

Yes I cleared all caches before updating. I have rolled it back to yesterdays backup now so maybe difficult to diagnose. I am worried about trying to update again in case the same thing happens. Have you any ideas other than Cache problems? I would have thought the colour options would still show on category pages even if the cache was causing display errors? Debbie

    Hi,

Sorry, yes my fault. I set up caching on the website yesterday and once cleared I did see the pink icons. Thanks for your help. Debbie

    Hi,

I still see all the icons under the contacts section in grey, not pink. I have cleared cache and tried in an incognito page but only see grey.

Yes, I can see it has been re-aligned thank you. However, the icons beside each section were pink, now they are grey. Can the pink icons be restored?

The settings I have seem to correspond with those in your help file.

    I tried to enter :
    etTheme.loadInView();
    jQuery(‘.filter-wrap .woocommerce-pagination’).hide();
etTheme.global_image_lazy(); // in case you use XStore lazy loading option

into the ‘Pagination end’ section, but this stopped the infinite scroll and gave me pagination instead which I didnt want.

As I mentioned, this category – https://staging11.swankypins.co.uk/product-category/stockings/ works perfectly well, all images load, whereas this category https://staging11.swankypins.co.uk/product-category/suspenderbelts/ doesn’t load the image, neither do most of the others.

The actual plugin is working, it loads the pages via infinite scroll, its just the images that don’t load.

    Hi,

I don’t think you are scrolling down far enough to see the problem. The top 12 products/images are loading (i.e. page 1), but then nothing. I have tried changing the settings in ‘Infinite scroll’ to pagination, but still only the images for page 1 load.

I’ve also tried incognito as suggested, and clearing cache but it doesn’t make any difference.

This has changed on both my staging sites, which suggests that something that you changed in the main file system via ftp when fixing the last problem has changed something on both sites.

The second staging site was also affected and now has the same problem. As you only had login details for the staging11 site, anything done in the admin on there would not affect the second staging site.

Could you please look at this again as I am anxious to go live with this site asap. Thank you, Debbie

    Hi,

I attach details. For the ftp, you would need to look for the staging11 site in there. There is the live site + 2 different staging sites.

    Thanks, Debbie

    Hi Olga,

Thanks, yes the correct number of items now show in the number (e.g. Shopping Cart (3) ), but the dropdown only shows one item at a time. Surely all items should show in the dropdown so customers don’t have to keep going back to the cart to remind themselves what is in there? Is there a setting that needs to be changed to show the cart items in the dropdown?

I do need some form of currency converter as I have international customers. If I cannot use the Currency switcher you have now disabled, do you know of any other similar plugins that work with this theme? Thanks, Debbie

Hi, I attach login details to the staging site.

I have someone working on the site who tried to get this to work and i think he tried to disable plugins but I do not know if I am using cache.

I hope you can find a solution because the cart issue is an important part of the customer experience. Thanks, Debbie

I have no way of testing with storefront without changing the template I am working on. I can’t mess it up as I am not good with this stuff anyway.

The backup of the site was completed using a staging tool, everything was exactly the same, it was an exact copy so all products were correctly imported.

If you use the colour filters on the live site https://www.swankypins.co.uk/, you can see suspender belts in teal, pink, turquoise, purple, blue ect. that are not showing for whatever reason on the new template. all other categories seem to be okay.

The colours for each product are chosen when adding a product using a ‘colours’ menu (underneath product categories and product tags) but there is no option on your template to choose colours for new products, so how is this done? Without this option where can I choose colours for individual products / change the ones that are not working? Are the attributes/colours not chosen when adding products?

I will need to add colours somehow.

I have a screenshot showing what i mean but cannot attach it.

You did not help me about the price filter. Please can you check my earlier message regarding this, it does not work at all.

i do not understand what i should be reading on the link you sent? It is just showing post types but what should I do with this?

Sorry, i really am not understanding all this. Please explain in baby language 🙁 debbie

How do i check this? I can’t change the theme now.

All the products were carried over from the live site and were showing as ‘in stock’. I edited 8 of them (just to check the ‘featured product’ box so they showed in ‘best sellers’ on my homepage). You can see on the homepage, all products under ‘best sellers’ are showing as ‘out of stock’ but are actually ‘IN STOCK’. As soon as I clicked ‘update’ they showed as out of stock – even though variations and prices are complete. This happens every time I edit any product. Please let me know how to stop this happening. thanks, Debbie

I am having the same issue. Products are showing out of stock when all variations are IN STOCK, and prices are there on each variation so this isn’t going to be solved in the same way as the above issue. Please can you let me have another ‘fix’ that will stop showing in stock products as ‘out of stock’. Thanks, Debbie

    Hi,

Thank you for your help. it still isn’t right though.

    1) Filter Products by Price
Yes I realise that the filter button does not show, but I have been using it as I know it is there. It does not filter the price.

I have now turned off ‘dark version’.

Even the ‘Sort by’ option doesn’t work – low to high or high to low just shows a random mix, not in price order.
    e.g.https://staging11.swankypins.co.uk/product-category/suspenderbelts/?orderby=price
This was a search for ‘sort by price – low to high’. It does not show lowest prices then rising. All prices are mixed up in results.

Again, using this same category, if you change the price filter slider to show £22-£33, there is only one result showing in the results. This is incorrect. If you change the filter to show products between £13-£25, you get the error message ‘Check your spelling or search again with less specific terms’
    https://staging11.swankypins.co.uk/product-category/suspenderbelts

A couple of times whilst testing filters I have received the following error message –
‘Incorrect Apache directives inside .htaccess file’

I have enabled Ajax Product Filters but am seeing no difference.

Please can you look at this again, I have tried on 2 browsers but cannot see it working.

    2) Active Product – Yes this is now working

    3) Ratings – Okay, I’ll have to get some worse reviews 🙁

    4) Swatches Filter – The 27 you are referring to show on the ‘stockings’ category. Only 7 show on the ‘suspender belts’ category https://staging11.swankypins.co.uk/product-category/suspenderbelts/. Colours such as teal, blue, turquoise, pink ect. should be showing here.
The screenshot you sent showed ‘0’ in Light Blue, but on my live site there are two products (stockings) using the colour ‘light blue’ https://www.swankypins.co.uk/product-color/light-blue/ which should show in search results for this colour. I see that in my old admin centre there is a ‘colours’ option under ‘product tags’ when adding a new product. In the staging site there isn’t that option so where do I choose the colours for each product so that new products show in the colour filters?

Yes, I now understand how to add colour circles to the attributes. I have done a couple and will fill the others in.

    5) I will leave the brands until later. I can do it on my old site but didn’t realise I had to fill in a new set of attributes for them.

I would be grateful if you could check again on these things that are not working, thanks. Debbie

    Hi,

Thanks for your help. I have deactivated most of the plugins on the site as you suggest and it really hasn’t made a difference.

The price filter still doesn’t work correctly, the sort by rating doesn’t show at all, neither does the ‘active product filters’.

The colour filters show a selection of circles, but not all the colours i have available – there should be pink, blue, turquoise, teal ect. that are not showing. The circles are all white as well, not the colour they should be.

Also the brands filter doesn’t show in the ‘Shop Filters’ section.

I attach the login details for the site, thank you. Debbie

    Hi,

I have set it up the same as your video, screenshots ect. I am wondering the colour swatch problem is because my attribute is called ‘Colour’, yours is ‘Color’. Maybe the system is not recognising the different spelling. I already have the attribute ‘Colour’ and all the colours listed in there. I need your plugin/filter to recognise the spelling different. How do I do that? I don’t want to change the Attribute to the US spelling for a UK site.

i will now try disabling plugins to see if I can get the price and brands to work correctly. I do have additional plugins that were used on my existing site but would obviously prefer the ones with your template to be used as there won’t be compatability issues.
