01 – Could you please tell me if you have a release date for your improve theme search ?
02 – Could you please explain when i have always serahc result weird behavior (for ewample i have 5 page of results it’s normal but 8 display on page 1, 3 on page 2, 5 on page 3 …)

Hi,

Thanks for add this custom query for that ! It works (but i need search on color name too so i active search product variation but it have some issues).

I have weird results. For exemple when i search ‘argenté’ the text return 11 result but i have 8 products (7 page 1, 1 on page 2 or normally grid have to display 8 product per page)

When i active Search Product Variations, the result display for example 3 time s the same product. For example, when i search ‘noir’ the product ‘Gants de jardinage noir et blanc’ display 3 times. Moreover i have 3 page results (but 7 displays on page one, 2 on page 2 and one on page 3).

Could you please tell me what’s the problem.

Thanks for your answer,

But like you can see on your screenshot when you search on “Boucles d’oreilles” categories the term “bleu” the droplist display “Etui à lunettes cuir Lori” or this product in not on “Boucles d’oreilles” ctaegory so it should not here.

Moreover, when i search “noir” i have the product “Sautoir Ksen” display. I suppose because the letter ‘oir’ but this behavior is not what we expected.

I hope, i’m more clear. My english is not really good, sorry for that.

PS : Is it possible do the search only the name of product ans name variation ? (so not on description of the product, perhaps this will fixed the issue we have with search bar)

Hi,
1- It’s not a warning on elementor, i use dev tools to perform page and structure.
2 – 2.1 I have this ‘error’ on page. I use ohnly page system for this.
2.2 I use web developper addons on chrome to see like the google robot.

Thanks for your reply.
01 – This is already done. So unfortunately, it seems it doesn’t work. It works only Search By Category is unchecked , if search category boxed is checked the search is only on the name of product (even if search product variation is checked too)
I send you a image to undersand if you need more explaination. (on private area)

02 – Thanks, the problem is fixed (certainly cache problem like often ^^)

Hi,
For example i have clothes category so it’s fine i need size guide, but in my plants category i don’t need size guide and it’s not logical at all. So i don’t want to have size guide link but it appears at all product.

I hope, i am more clear.

But how can don’t display size guide for products which i don’t choose ?

For now, my iage size guide appears on product i did your process but for product i didn’t do that there is alwayz a size guide link (with general image).

Because some of my product are not compatible with size guide.

Hi,
For 02 – Go to Theme options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page Layout > try different “Product Added Notification Types”
Unfortunately i have issue with infinite load. I have a topic open here https://www.8theme.com/topic/topic-again-infinite-loading-in-some-part-of-theme-option/#post-337077.
Clear cache and desactive doesn’t operate.
So please, could you fix this issue in order to use all theme possibility ?

For 01 – for now, i’ll pass for this functionnality 🙂 thanks
