Hello Luca,
Thanks for your quick response. I changed the configuration and things are all working OK. Not sure how this became changed, but we are OK now.

Luca,
Thanks for your prompt support with this. We’re still working through a hosting/firewall issue to enable, but this was a big help in moving things along.

Ben

Hi again,
I think I’ve solved this with some css:
/* fix problem with toggle button on filter plugin */
.box-toggle {
border: none !important;
}
.box-item-toggle {
border: none !important;
}
Do you see any problems with this approach?
Hi Luca,
Looks good – thanks for the quick turnaround. See private area.
Hello Rose,
I have reviewed the articles tagged in your response, in particular: https://www.8theme.com/topic-tag/optimize-woocommerce-password-settings/ . Are these capabilities included with the XStore theme?? If so, could you please direct me to where settings like password strength, etc. are configured in the theme??
We are wanting to 1. change the required password strength requirement and 2. suppress the woocommerce message about password strength (12 characters recommended, etc).
If this is a feature included in the XStore theme that we have missed, we would prefer to implement this without an additional plugin. Please advise.
Thank you for your support,

Ben

Thank you for your response. I have submitted a request for assistance with this problem referring to this ticket, since I think all the information to duplicate this issue can be found with this ticket.
This plugin performs a pretty basic function in the My Account section, so it should be pretty easy to fix (I hope).

Hello Tony,
The credentials do work fine, you must use them on the development site, as provided in the private area, not the live production site. I’ve provided them again here.
On the development site, I have disabled all non-essential plugins. The sticky sidebar works fine on Category Pages and Brand Pages, but not on the Shop Page itself. Please advise.
Thanks,
Ben
Sounds good. I’ll be glad to help if I am able.

Hi,
Thanks for filling me in. So you would advise leaving the 9.1.13 version in place, along with the files incorporating the fix, for now?? Do you have an ETA for the 9.2 release??

Ben
Hi Rose,
No I meant : https://www.8theme.com/topic/missing-classes-on-product-page-causes-tracking-problem/#post-366368

Hi Rose,
I’ve confirmed with the GTM developer that this takes care of things. Thanks again for your help!

Ben
Hi Rose,
Thank you so much for your quick response. I have replaced the files as you instructed, and I think this is working as desired now. I will confirm with the GTM Pro developer and let you know for sure.
Will this be incorporated in future XStore release so I won’t need to worry about overwriting during an update?
Regards,
Ben
Some clarification from the GTM Pro developer:
These missing classes are on the product archive page (not product page): Yes, select_item is when somebody clicks on product tile, on product list page, in these product tiles css classes are missing. The missing classes are “woocommerce-loop-product__link” and “woocommerce-LoopProduct-link”, and should be included with the products image and product title links. After clicking on product image or product name, select_item should fire. Mechanism bases on css classes inside html elements – that’s how we can detect when somebody clicks on product link.
Please advise,
That seems to have fixed it for us. Thank you.
I will probably implement with a snippet on our production site. I think we should be good to go, though.
Thanks again for the prompt support.
Hello Rose, nice to hear from you.
I’m sorry I gave the wrong URL for the Development site. I’ve updated the URL in private area. Also, I have set up SFTP access for you and your team.
Please confirm that you can log in to both OK!
Thanks,
Ben

Good morning,
I can report that with the redirect code in place, the fatal errors are not appearing in the log…
Wondering if that redirect snippet could be changed to actually report the URL where the errors occur in a log???
Thank you for helping track this down. We are really wanting to run the site on php 8.0, and our hosting provider wpengine is encouraging this, since they may discontinue php 7.4 support sometime soon.
As I said, I had moved that code from the child theme to a snippet. But, that snippet is now deactivated and I will leave the child theme as you have it.
I will watch to see if the errors continue, and will let you know.
Wondering about the additional code, doesn’t it just redirect to the homepage if an error occurs?
Thanks for helping.
I notice you added code to the child theme functions.php.
I had moved that code to snippets plugin, but I have turned that snippet off for the time being while you test.
Ben
