    Hello, Ju En,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We understand that your client has decided to temporarily disable the WooCommerce functionality, including the Shop, My Account, and ordering/display features. While WooCommerce does not offer a built-in option to fully disable these components, there are a few steps you can take to achieve this:

    1. Disable WooCommerce Pages:
    – You can unpublish or set the visibility of the Shop and My Account pages to “Private” from the Pages section in your WordPress dashboard.

    2. Disable WooCommerce Functionality:
    – You may consider deactivating the WooCommerce plugin temporarily. However, please note that this will disable all WooCommerce-related features and data on the site.

    3. Use Maintenance Mode or Redirects:
    – You can use a plugin to redirect users away from WooCommerce pages or display a maintenance message.

    4. Custom Code:
    – If you prefer a more tailored solution, a developer can help you hide or disable specific WooCommerce features using custom code or functions.

Here is a link to Woocommerce support forum – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

We hope this information is helpful.

    Hello, Farhad,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We have reviewed your website and, at this time, we do not see any signs that it is broken. Please try clearing your browser and site cache, as this often resolves display issues after updates.

Please note that we do not guarantee full compatibility of our theme with all third-party plugins, nor can we provide support for such plugins. In some cases, additional customization of either the theme or the plugin may be required to ensure they work together. Unfortunately, it is not feasible for the theme author to ensure compatibility with all existing plugins, and such customization falls outside the scope of our standard support.

    Warm Regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hello,

Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Hello, Monark,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Translation files of the theme should be placed in /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder,
plugins, like Core plugin, in /wp-content/languages/plugins folder (this is System location),
with correct names, for example, for XStore theme: xstore-fr_FR.po, and xstore-core-fr_FR.po for XStore Core plugin, then you will not lose translation after the update – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/
We would recommend doing a backup of all the files before any update https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/
Also, after every update, you need to synchronize the translation – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-files-update/. Sometimes new strings are added, and only after synchronization, you’ll be able to translate new strings or strings that were changed. Not always, but some strings can be missing after the sync and you need to find and translate them one more time, this is independent of us and relates to WP functionality.

The translation should be done for the parent theme, and it will be automatically inherited by the child theme.
The child theme should be translated only in case you added custom code in the child theme that includes localization functions.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our support team is always available to assist you.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We have tested uploading the SVG icon, and everything appears to be working correctly on our end. Please see the screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/t9rlTt0DfBRy.

Based on our observations, the issue does not seem to be related to the theme, and the same result is likely to occur regardless of the theme used. While we are not entirely certain about the root cause of the problem, we recommend preparing and using alternative icons as a solution.

Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Hello Abdulaziz,

    We appreciate your prompt response.

Yes, it is possible to switch from Elementor to WPBakery Page Builder; however, please note that this process may require rebuilding your pages, as the content created with Elementor is not directly compatible with WPBakery. There is no automatic convertor, unfortunately. We recommend creating a backup of your website before making any changes to avoid data loss.

    Hello,

    We appreciate your prompt response.

Please note that the Media Carousel element does not offer the option to add individual links to each image. Therefore, we recommend using an alternative element, such as the Carousel Anything, which may better suit your needs. We’ve created an example on your site (hidden using these settings https://prnt.sc/b4RMdrTOeK7x ). Private Content.

    Hello, Abdulaziz,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

1/ We kindly recommend updating the theme and the core plugin, as this should resolve the issue with the arrows. Please don’t forget to clear your cache after completing the updates.
    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/
    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/plugins-update/

2/ As we can see, you are currently using the Elementor plugin to build the content of your homepage. Therefore, the WPBakery Page Builder is not required, as it serves a similar purpose. Using two page builders simultaneously may lead to conflicts and unexpected issues.

Please read detailed information about bundled plugins here https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins
Free versions of the WPBakery or Revolution Slider or any other premium plugin just do not exist.

We would like to inform you that all premium plugins included with our theme are external products for which we have secured the Extended License, allowing us to incorporate them into our theme. Please note that registration of these plugins is not mandatory, as they are fully operational without activation.

The activation feature within these plugins is designed for customers who wish to receive automatic updates and direct support from the plugin developers. Additionally, plugin authors may introduce exclusive or just additional features to encourage customers to purchase the plugins directly from them. Unfortunately, this is a situation that affects not only us but all theme authors on the ThemeForest platform.

Unfortunately, if you want to import templates from the Revolution slider or WPBakery template library you need to buy the personal license of plugins. Extra features do not come with the extended license, this is Revolution slider authors rules. We and all theme authors on the ThemeForest platform can do nothing about this.

    Hello, ProdbyDaan,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

1/ Please try enabling “Always load ‘wc-cart-fragments’” in Theme Options > Speed Optimization. After that, clear the cache and check the result.

2/ We recommend that you disable all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/). After doing so, please clear your browser’s cache and check again. It is possible that one of these additional plugins is causing the issue.

    Let us know the results.

    Hello, Eewa Farms,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

To set up the theme on a live site, please follow these general steps:

    1. Backup Your Website:
Before making any changes, ensure you have a full backup of your website, including files and database.

    2. Install the Theme:
    – Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
    – Navigate to Appearance > Themes > Add New.
    – Upload the theme .zip file and click “Install Now.”
    – Once installed, click “Activate.”

    3. Install Required Plugins:
After activation, you may be prompted to install and activate required plugins – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/

    4. Import Demo Content (Optional)
    https://youtu.be/4n1re0jKorc?feature=shared

    5. Customize Your Site:
    – Go to Appearance > Customize or use the Theme Options panel to adjust settings such as colors, typography, header, footer, and layout.
    – Replace demo content with your own content (pages, posts, images, etc.).

    6. Set Up Menus and Widgets:
    – Navigate to Appearance > Menus to assign your menu to the correct location.
    – Go to Appearance > Widgets to configure your sidebar and footer widgets.

    7. Final Checks:
    – Test your site on different devices and browsers.
    – Ensure all links, forms, and features are working correctly.

Regarding the import of WooCommerce data from a live site to a staging or test environment, this is indeed possible. However, for detailed guidance, we recommend consulting WooCommerce support or referring to their official documentation, as they will be best equipped to assist you with this process.
