XStore Designers theme variant – need PSDs & advice

Hi

Please, can you send me the PSDs for the XStore ‘Designers’ theme variant?
- I specifically want to change the images found in the Home Page Revolution Sliders. You’ve made things complicated by including a purple block behind the actual picture. I want to easily reproduce each slide image with my own images but keep the background block. I may want to change the block colour also, hence need a PSD specifically for these slide background images.
- I can work out the overall dimension of the Revolution Slider main background images, but can you please tell me the dimension of the black and white images contained within the overall image, so I can crop my own images to the correct sizes?
- Can you kindly tell me the typeface used for the breadcrumb background images?
- What is the typeface used for the letter “D” in the logo, and for the other letters in the logo?
- I also want to make a suggestion to the developer. Why did you use CSS in each page to specify the breadcrumbs background when all you needed to do was upload a featured image. It took me a while to work out where to change these images when it would have been much simpler to use the featured image like you have done in other XStore theme variants. All that extra CSS in each page was not necessary, in my opinion. (just a suggestion)
- I am currently using v4.28.1 on the XStore theme. I can’t v5.0b for the ‘Designers’ demo on your demo site anymore. I do not want to upgrade to v5.0beta until I know its possible at this time? I would appreciate some feedback in advance of updating the theme please?

Hello,

I have sent you the designers PSD and you can find the answer to your questions about image size and font-family.

We have fixed the issue with the image URL, it was the mistake of our content manager. The new update will include correct version of the import files and import of the options.
This version works fine with the 5.0, here is the demo https://xstore.8theme.com/demos/2/designers/ It won’t be removed in the new update.

Once I update XStore to v5.0b, is it possible to import the demo site from scratch?

Hello,

If you previously imported version you can just activate it and re-import Theme Options and widgets but not the page content or whole the site content.
Also, we have not released the updated version of import files yet. If you want I can send you updated import of the “Designers” version to your email and you’ll be able to import it manually.

I still haven’t received the import files? My email is in the private section I posted before.

After updating to XStore v5.0b, I get these problems:-
1. the header area where the menu goes has no padding above or below the logo any more. After scrolling down a bit the padding then matches your own demo site after scrolling.
2. the Main Menu used to have the active link underlined. It is no longer underlined.
3. on my site, I have a WooCommerce Shop page. The styling for the sidebar category headings and other styling is missing.

I tried to import the options.json file found within the xstore\theme\assets\dummy\designers however the site is no longer the same. I was expecting to get your updated import files you mentioned, but didn’t get these? I especially need the updated options.json file for the Designer theme variant so it looks like the aforementioned demo of yours. Importing the options.json file in the theme does not work for Designers. The stylesheets do not match your own demo site.

Sorry for the delay in answering. You can download the correct json here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ Try to re-import the new json.

Yes, shop page, inputs, single product page were re-designed to make the layout more light and understandable for users. So, if you prefer the old styles for the categories, switchers, inputs it’s possible to implement them by some additional CSS customization.
