    I am using the Niche market 2 theme and a product I have created looks different from the demo products.

    For instance the description box looks really nice on the demo products but on the product I have created it looks rubbish

    Hello @Jay545452,

    We have resolved your issue regarding the Description box on the demo products. We have set the margins and padding as seen in the image here: https://ibb.co/mFPsYRf and the settings have been applied to your product as well as seen in the image here: https://ibb.co/5cw9MQP.

    We hope this resolves your issue.

    Best Regards,

    Hi,

    Many thanks.

    However I have over 5000 products to add. Will all future products have the description box as shown in the demo product?

    As I can’t see how I can edit each product just to get the description box to look correct.

    I got the theme as I loved the look of the product page but I can’t realistically edit over 5000 products just to get the description box to look the same.

    Also when you “add product” you can either do it in elementor or using the standard wordpress editor. Which one is correct?

    Hello, Jay545452

    Do you plan to add products manually or import them?

    A result similar to the demo can be achieved using custom CSS code.

    Our demo products were created using Elementor, so they should be edited using Elementor only.
    We are using Elementor to build our descriptions on demos because we use different widgets for showing visual effects and well-styled descriptions for each product. Otherwise, if you need to add a simple html list or a few paragraphs in the product’s description then it is better to use the classic editor to prevent loading Elementor extra files/scripts/styles for that area.
    If you plan to create products manually or import products that were not created using Elementor, it means the Elementor is not obligatory.

    About custom CSS code, try to add the next code in Theme Options > Theme custom CSS > Global –

    #tab-description {
        border: 1px solid #e1e1e1;
        border-top: none;
        padding: 30px;
    }

    then check your “test” product, the border around the description should appear.

    If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our support team is always available to assist you.

    Thank you for the reply.

    I will be manually importing.

    Instead of doing a new thread I have a couple of more questions.

    All products are external products. How do I change the colour of the buy now button?

    Also how to make the buy now button open in a new window.

    Thank you

    Hello, Jay545452

    1/ Please go to Theme Options > WooCommerce > Single product builder > Add to cart > Button Background Color. Publish settings to be able to see changes.

    2/ Please contact the support of WooCommerce plugin about this – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

    Ok thanks

    All the links on my site are external links.

    On the shop page for external links it says Visit Site or whatever I chose for that to say but I want them to view the product so how do I do that?

    From the shop page as shown in the private content area instead of visit site I want them to view the product instead

    Thanks

    Hello, Jay545452

    External product type is part of WooCommerce plugin functionality. XStore is fully compatible with WooCommerce settings, but we do not have additional functionality for this product type. It means you need to read the docs of WC first –
    https://woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/#adding-an-external-affiliate-product In this article you will find: “Select ‘External/Affiliate’ from the product type dropdown. This will change the Product data metabox a bit. It first removes the shipping section from the left side. It then adds two new fields in the General section, the Product URL and Button text fields. The Product URL field is the destination where users can purchase this product. Then the Button text lets you change the normal Add to cart button text to your preferred text.” , so you can change the Product URL – https://prnt.sc/fGs_SvdpIA2P

    If this is not what you are looking for, or you want to customize the current behavior for this type of products, we would recommend you contact WooCommerce support. Hope for your understanding.

    Kind Regards,
