    Hi,

How do I manage stock control?

I need to apply settings so that each size availability shows the correct amount available and when they are sold, this shows sold out.

    I have 2 products:

    Product 1: 5 sizes (s, m, l, xl, xxxl) and 8 in each size.

    Product 2: 5 sizes (s, m, l, xl, xxxl) and 5 lengths (52, 54, 56, 58, 60) and these will available in 2 for each size and length.

    How can this be achieved?

    Thanks,
    Ajaz

    Hello Ajaz,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your query regarding stock control.

To manage stock for your products and ensure that each size displays the correct availability, you will need to use the inventory management features of your e-commerce platform. Here’s a general guide on how you can set this up:

    1. **Product Variations**: For both of your products, you will need to create variations for each size. For Product 2, you will also need to create variations for each length. This will allow you to manage stock for each specific combination.

    2. **Setting Stock Quantities**: Once you have created the variations, you can set the stock quantity for each one. For Product 1, you would set the quantity to 8 for each size. For Product 2, you would set the quantity to 2 for each size and length combination.

    3. **Enabling Stock Management**: Make sure that stock management is enabled in your e-commerce platform settings. This will allow the system to automatically deduct stock when a product is purchased and display ‘Sold Out’ when the stock level reaches zero.

    4. **Continuous Monitoring**: Regularly monitor and update your stock levels to ensure that they reflect the actual inventory. This is crucial to avoid overselling or stock discrepancies.

If you need specific instructions tailored to the e-commerce platform you are using (e.g., WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento), please let us know, and we will provide you with detailed steps.

We hope this information helps you set up your stock control effectively. If you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
