Hello,
Please update the theme to the latest version and Woocommerce as well.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins http://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!
(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

I have updated all plugins and updated the theme and woocommerce according to the steps you provided above.
Still the quickview opens up huge and sometimes without the x button to close the window.
please asssist

Please remove it and check the issue.

I have removed that piece of code.
It seems to work properly
only on smaller desktop screens the quick view link moves down and almost diassappears and also the X button for closing jumps up out of the screen

There is another problem with the quickview
whenever opening quick view VIA related products . after choosing size the add to cart button disappears
this is in addition to the the issue above/ so there are still 2 problems.

As I see on small screens “close” icon is shown on the right side:

Please read carefully
I think you have confused some of the issues.
This whole thread and I think also other tickets exist . And still the Issues persist.
there are currently 3 issues.
1. On some screens the closing X icon in the quickview does not appeaer
2.When entering quickview only VIA RELATED PRODUCTS : after choosing size the add to cart button disappears.
ISSUE # 1
My one pc screen also shows the issue for certain products only. Example the product angle dust in mens category after clicking quickview the closing X disappears but with other products it works fine

Here im adding another screenshot of the issue from my friends machine . On that machine none of the products in quickview have the X for closing

ISSUE # 2
Go to any product and then in related products click the quickview. You can see the add to cart button displays. now choose a size and try to add to cart. The button disappears
Issue # 3
I still have the problem with the quickview text jumping down on one of my screens
