Problem with YITH WooCommerce Zoom Magnifier plugin

Hi there;

After updating WooCommerce to 3.0.5, and your XStore theme to 3.12, the YITH WooCommerce Zoom Magnifier plugin (v1.2.29) is not working anymore. We know the new WC version includes a new product zoom feature, but we don’t like it specially because it doesn’t work correctly on mobile devices (you have to click on one area to zoom in, click again to zoom out, and click on another area… very annoying).

Before this last update your theme and the YITH Zoom Magnifier plugin were working perfectly, on desktop and mobile. Is there an option so both can work together again?

Since YITH Zoom Magnifier is a third party plugin you should check the latest WC compatibility with their support. not here.

Anyhow, we will take a look into this and get back to you after 2 days.

Hi Naja;

Could you take a look?
Their plugin is compatible to WC 3.0 since version 1.2.27 (we are using 1.2.29) and they suggest to test it with a default theme because it could be that our theme did some changes to the default WooCommerce template for the single product page.

We will appreciate some help with this.

Hello,

So, have you checked with Storefront theme (default WC theme)? Does it work fine? Does problem appears with our theme only/

Hi Olga;

Yes, we checked with Storefront and the plugin works. You can see screenshots in the Private Content area. With your theme is like the plugin just doesn’t exist nor it has been installed/activated, and it definitely is. It was working perfectly before updating your theme to be compatible WC 3.0

We really need this plugin to work on our site as it was working before, especially since the default WC product zoom seems to work incorrectly on mobile devices (you have to click on one area to zoom in, click again to zoom out, and click on another area to zoom in again… very annoying).

Our menu is gone, our footer is gone, the content on our top panel is gone… The zoom now works but please recover all those elements as they were before.
