Legenda vs XStore - by Fabio - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Dear Support,

I have seen that a new release for the Legenda theme for accomodating Woocommerce 4.0 is not available yet. On the contrary this is available for XStore.

Perhaps I am wrong however, I have the feeling that XStore is more advanced than Legenda and more 8theme’s effort is spent there.

1) Could you please tell me if this is correct and what are the major feature differences between XStore and Legenda?

2) I have invested a lot of time and effort in building my website around the Legenda theme, do you believe that it would be possible to switch to XStore? Do you think that the switch would be relatively smooth or would require a lot of effort? Is it worth?

Hello,

XStore is a modern theme and yes, it’s advanced than Legenda.
XStore has live options from WP Customizer, there are more options for the detailed customization of many theme aspects. XStore includes header builder, variation swatches, variation gallery, single product builder. It supports 2 page builders: WPBakery and Elementor.

Both themes are WooCommerce themes and both support the WPBakery, so, don’t think that you will spend a lot of time to switch, maybe a few days or week, depending on your skills. Probably it will be the re-creation of the home page (or other pages if you used specific Legenda elements like product categories or something not the default WPBakery elements) using XStore elements and footer creation. You can create staging site(full copy of the existing) to check.
