Pblm with legenda-fr_FR.po - by VroH - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Hi Legenda team !
    Your theme is really great !
    As I’m traducting Legenda in french for my future website, It seems that for every translation it is ok BUT for 2 translations, it doesn’t work? These 2 items that are nor translated are :
    New Customers :
    Register with us for future convenience: fast and easy check out, easy access to your orders history and statuses
    and :
    If you have shopped with us before, please enter your details in the boxes below. If you are a new customer please proceed to the Billing & Shipping section.
    Even if I tranlate these 2 items, and compile in legenda-fr_FR.mo, these 2 strings are not changing … On the issue for 2 hours, suppressed nav historisation, changed navigators, and so on … Nothing is changing !! Desesparate … Help ! 😉

    Hello,

    Hope you are having a nice day.
    Do you use latest theme version? Check parent theme version in Appearance > Themes > Legenda > Theme details.
    What plugin do you use to translate theme?
    Please provide wp-admin and FTP access in Private Content.

    Hello Rose,
    I’m translating with Poedit, and then import the translation (legenda-fr_FR.po and .mo) by filezila.
    I’m importing these 2 files in Theme>legenda-child>languages.
    As it was not working I also imported fr_FR.mo + .po (doesn’t work)
    Then I tried to import these 2 files in Theme>legenda>languages (doesn’t work)
    Then finally in Wp-content>languages>themes (doesn’t work)
    it has been working for every all strings I translated yesterday and not these today …
    cant understand …

    Could you please provide access in Private Content?
    Also please read about theme translation via Loco Translate plugin –
    http://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/30-base-theme-translation (the same for legenda theme).

    Magic !!!
    Just “New Customers” not translated !
    Could you explain what was this issue ? If I have it again on an other website it would help ?

    I’ve installed Loco translate plugin and translated strings via this plugin.
    Did you change credentials? Please try to go to Loco Translate plugin > Themes > LEGENDA – 8theme WordPress theme > find and translate “New Customers” text.

    Also, please note that after theme update you need to synchronize translation. Before this make sure that you placed translation files of theme into wp-content/languages/themes folder with correct name http://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/30-base-theme-translation (the same for legenda theme).
    Button Sync (Loco Translate plugin) allows you to synchronize your translation file with updated pot file. It means if we made any changes in template files that may affect transaltion or we added new string for the translation and you updated theme you need to synchronize your translation with updated files. Only after synchronization you’ll be able to translate new strings or strings that were changed. You may lose only strings that were changed.
    Also, don’t forget to backup all the files before any update.
