Hello,
I do have 2 options for using contact form:
1. Contact – [contact_form]
2. Contact Us – [contact-form-7 id="691" title="Contact form 1"]
If I want to customize default contact form fields of royal
Go to wp-content/themes/royal/framework/shortcodes.php file in line 424 (find the section “! Contact form”) – recently this wrote Mr. Jack Richardson to someone in forum, but I tried to manage for my case and change line 463 ‘website’ filed with:
<label for=”contact-telephone” class=”control-label”><?php _e(‘Telephone Number’, ETHEME_DOMAIN) ?> <span class=”required”>*</span></label>
<input type=”text” name=”contact-telephone” class=”required-field form-control” id=”contact-telephone”>
Then instead Website it appears Telephone Number this is ok, and ones as I fill up all the fields and press send, then go to e-mail and I see all is there but numbers missing, ie telephone number. The same thing happened with if I want to customize contact form fields of Contact Form 7, as you can see there is field Your Telephone Number, which not appears to e-mail ones is filled and sending. You can check both on e-mail which I have provide in private
Give me some advice please, also I was trying to find some css code for alignment – I wish whatever form to have center position.
Much appreciated your help
best regards
Hello,
You also have to edit the file wp-content/themes/royal/framework/theme-functions.php (find the section “Send message from contact form” in line 1385) and replace “website” code with “telephone number” that you created.
