Why is it that not all the Alemite products are appearing when I filter for Grease Guns -> Alemite. There should be many much more than 2. I haven’t tested the other products, but I imagine there are similar issues elsewhere.

    Hello,

Please update theme to new version – 3.0.0.1 (http://themeforest.net/item/woopress-responsive-ecommerce-wordpress-theme/9751050, log in with your Envato account credentials and free download the latest version in Downloads section)
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/installation_upgrade.
Before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/woopress/ to avoid problems with old files.
Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
You need to enter your purchase code to activate our new theme version and skip Setup Wizard.

Also, update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

So far this is a disaster. I updated the theme but my child theme is no longer compatible. There are huge issues here!

I had to disable all the files on my child theme except for functions.php and style.css. This is a total disaster at this stage.

I’ve lost an incredible amount of work that went to customizing the site. Just as a simple example – the brand filtering isn’t even anywhere on my site anymore! I used to have these filters setup on the left-hand side. I also notice this new “Shop Banner” which I don’t know what that is. Going through the site now looking at all

    Isn’t there 24/7 support through 8theme???

Sorry to sound so needy, but this upgrade really broke the site.

    Hello,

Now I can connect to your site.
Please update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ (To update free plugins just click on update link from your Dashboard (Plugins > Installed Plugins). To update premium plugins, connect to your server using FTP. Copy extracted plugins folders into wp-content/plugins/.)
Could you please describe in detail the problem what you want to resolve?
Please note that was big woocommerce update, so many elements in the plugin and our theme functionality were changed. Very likely, you need to edit your changes in the child theme to proper work with new versions.
To change shop banner go to Theme Options > Shop > Product Page Banner.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

I updated all the plugins, including a large update to Visual Composer going from v4 to v5.

The issues I’m having are related to customizations I made to the old theme via my child theme. These changes all broke when I did the theme update. You can see the site pre-theme update on a dev page here:

    http://dev2.empireluberepair.com/

You will see some specific difference. For one, the Footer is entirely missing from the updated site. More importantly, the shop page has lost its WooCommerce filtering capabilities. I had filters setup to filter by Price and by Manufacturer. These have completely disappeared.

Here is the old shop page with these filters: http://dev2.empireluberepair.com/shop/

Here is the new shop page with them missing: https://empireluberepair.com/shop/

Getting these filters working properly is the entire reason I contacted 8themes. It was advised that I update everything. So I went in and bought the plugin again to access the newest version, updated it, and now it’s been broken for the last week.

    Hello,

You need simply re-add widgets after theme update (Appearance > Widgets).
I did it. Please check footer and shop sidebar now.
The latest versions of all required plugin you can free download on our site https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/
Also, this banner http://prntscr.com/fcbltf you can change in Theme Options > Shop > http://prntscr.com/fcbma2

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

Alright – looks like we’re up to date with the old version of the site. THANK YOU

Now I’ms till facing the original issue I can here posting about back on May 17. When I used the “Brand” filter, it isn’t catching all my products. For example, you’ll see on the “Grease Pumps” page, that the filter isn’t catching most of the Alemite products. Any idea why this is happening?

    Hello,

    You’re welcome!
I’ve checked your “Grease Pumps” page.
The same situation you have with Storefront theme – official WC https://prnt.sc/fdcb1h, we are able to help you only in case problem appears with our theme only and works fine with default theme.
Try to disable 3-rd party plugins and then check page, also check your settings.
Also, you can contact WC team on WooCommerce support forum.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.
