Blank screen when activating Roya theme - by taiger

Hi i have installed the theme, but when i click on the review (before activating) all i see is a blank page. When i activate it , the site is also blank.

Hi i got it to work, just turned off some plug ins

If i add the demo content, will i lose all my current content?

Hello,

Yes, you may. We recommend to install demo content at first and then upload your own.

That is dangerous, is this documented anywhere?

I have also noticed that theme is running quite slow..about 14 seconds

Hello,

If you’ve already added your own content and now want to install our demo content, your site may be corrupted. You may try to do this but you must create a back up of the site and database before making changes.
We’ve tested the time load of your site and the result was 3 seconds:

Thank, The above speed was reading a different theme, which i switched back to while trying to fix my issues. Fast right, when i installed Royal, it registered 15 seconds…

It would be great to be able to add dummy content to existing sites

Hello,
You may import our theme demo content. It will create new posts, projects, products and pages, but should not affect the existing ones. To be on the safe side, do the backup of all your files and DB.
Also provide admin panel and FTP accesses, we will take a better look at slow site problem.
