I have created a Single Product Template using the builder. Now I need to add around 20 products, and each product will have different information, specifications, images, descriptions, and other details.
Currently, when I duplicate a product and edit its content, the changes are also affecting the main Single Product Template and other products.
I want to keep one common Single Product Template/design for all products, but the content should be different for each individual product.
What is the correct way to set this up? How can I add and edit product-specific content without changing the main template or affecting the other products?

    Hello @Taris,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. To achieve the setup you desire, where you maintain a common Single Product Template/design while having unique content for each product, you should follow these steps:

    1. Use Dynamic Content: Ensure that your Single Product Template is set up to pull dynamic content from each individual product. This means that the template should be designed to automatically display the specific details of each product without altering the template itself. Elementor documentation: https://developers.elementor.com/docs/dynamic-tags/. Also, you can create custom product meta and display such meta in dynamic tags using ACF plugin: https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/blog/elementor-acf/.

    2. Product-Specific Fields: Utilize custom fields or product attributes to input unique information for each product. These fields can include specifications, images, descriptions, and other details that are specific to each product.

    3. Template Settings: Check your builder’s settings to ensure that the template is applied universally to all products, but the content is sourced from each product’s individual data.

    4. Avoid Direct Edits: When editing a product, make sure you are only changing the product-specific fields (product editor -> https://prnt.sc/qT8uf0cfZESF) and not the template itself (builder template -> https://prnt.sc/5Yfn10p0FZJQ). Other screenshot: https://prnt.sc/qa0Cqgiam8b0. This will prevent any changes from affecting other products or the main template.

    5. Consult Documentation: Refer to the documentation or support resources of your builder for specific instructions on setting up dynamic content and custom fields, as the process may vary depending on the tool you are using. Our documentation: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/xstore-single-product-builder-with-elementor/

By following these steps, you should be able to maintain a consistent design across all products while ensuring that each product displays its unique content.

If you still need our assistance, please, attach us the temporary wp-admin access in private content along with screenshots, urls other details you have questions about.

    Hi XStore Support Team,

I need your guidance regarding XStore Single Product Builder with Elementor. I want to explain my requirement clearly.

I am planning to create around 20–50 WooCommerce products.

    My requirement

I have already created a Single Product Template using XStore + Elementor.

The top/main product section can remain dynamic and common for all products. For example:

    Product title

    Product category

    Product gallery/images

    Short description

    Price

    Add to Cart / Enquiry

    Other standard WooCommerce product information

WooCommerce can automatically fetch this information from each individual product. This part is fine.

My issue is the secondary section

Below the main product section, I have several custom Elementor sections such as:

    Pump Specifications

    Engine Specifications

    Technical Information

    Performance Details

    Product Images

    Application Images

    Videos

    Downloads

    FAQ

    Other custom content

All of this secondary content will be different for every product.

Previously, when I worked with the Astra theme, I could keep the standard WooCommerce product information dynamic and then edit the secondary content of each individual product using Elementor.

I would like to achieve a similar workflow with XStore.

    Current problem with XStore

    When I go to:

WooCommerce → Products → All Products → Individual Product → Edit with Elementor

instead of allowing me to edit the Elementor content of that particular product, XStore takes me to the Single Product Template / Edit Template.

Therefore, if I change the specifications, images, FAQ, or other secondary sections for Product A, those changes are made to the global template and consequently appear on Product B, Product C, and all other products using that template.

This is exactly what I want to avoid.

    What I want

    Ideally, I need this structure:

    One common Single Product Template

→ Standard WooCommerce section dynamically fetches each product’s information.

→ Secondary Elementor section is independently editable for each individual product.

    For example:

    6 Inch Pump
    → Common template/design
→ 6 Inch specifications, engine details, images, videos and FAQ

    8 Inch Pump
    → Same common template/design
→ Different 8 Inch specifications, engine details, images, videos and FAQ

Editing the 8 Inch Pump should not change the 6 Inch Pump or the main Single Product Template.

    Important

I would prefer not to use ACF/custom fields, because the secondary section contains a large amount of Elementor content.

I would also prefer not to create 20–50 separate Static Blocks, one for every product, as this would be difficult to manage.

Is there a native XStore/WooCommerce/Elementor method where I can:

Keep one global Single Product Template but edit the secondary Elementor content independently inside each individual product?

If yes, could you please provide the exact steps/settings required? Also, please clarify why Edit with Elementor on an individual product currently redirects me to Edit Template instead of editing only that product.

For reference, I am looking for a workflow similar to what I previously used with Astra.

    Thank you.

    Dear @Taris,

The Product Data Tabs widget or Single Product Tabs widget is required by Elementor to be included in the Single Product Content (XStore Builders -> Single Product Builder). Since this widget is not currently added to your template, you may encounter a notice when editing any product. This information is detailed in the official Elementor documentation: https://elementor.com/help/woocommerce-single-product-data-tabs-pro/. We have now added this widget to your template (https://prnt.sc/g7bonjmFxnje), and upon checking the product content editor (for example, ViewSonic M1X LED Projector – 16:9 Portable), the editor loads correctly, allowing you to edit the content specifically for the current product: https://prnt.sc/gDhe92rDgNPd.

In the main Single Product template, you should display only the information that is common to all products (such as the product gallery, excerpt, etc.). If you need to include specific unique content that is commonly loaded in the template, please refer to the Dynamic Tags feature we previously described.

Regarding the notices, please disable the debug log on your website, as these notices are not critical and may occur during the development process. Keeping the debug active on a live website is not advisable.

You can find tutorials on creating static blocks in our documentation: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/support/static-blocks/.
