We use various categories on our website. I have now created a separate Product Archive for each category, with different conditions for each one. However, the website often displays a ‘broken’ page on the first load:

    – The filter sidebar is set to 50%
    – The fonts and font colours are incorrect

After refreshing the page, everything displays correctly. What is causing this and how can I fix it? Is this related to CSS?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello, Jacomijn,

Usually, such issues occur due to cached data. The matter is that after making changes to the templates, the pages may display old styles until the first refresh (during which the cache is updated).

    There are several possible solutions:
    1. Go through all the pages and refresh them manually.
    2. Clear the Elementor cache and the website cache in general.

    Best regards,

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for your reply. We’ve already cleared the cache several times. This morning, when I clicked on one category for the first time in an incognito window, it worked fine. All the other categories aren’t working properly. If I then click on the category that was working correctly at first, it’s now displaying incorrectly too. This happens in for example Brave, Edge and Chrome. So, in fact, the Product Archives that have their own condition are all displayed incorrectly in all browsers.

I don’t think this is the solution. Are there any other possible causes?

    Thanks!

    Hello, Jacomijn,

If the issue occurs only during the initial page load and disappears after a refresh, while the archive displays correctly afterwards, it usually indicates that some content is being rendered before all dynamic calculations or scripts have fully completed.

Could you please provide the following:
    * The URL of one of the affected category pages
    * A short screen recording showing the initial broken load and the result after refresh
    * Information about any caching, optimization, or performance plugins currently active on the site

We would also like to check the browser console for any JavaScript errors that appear during the initial page load.

This information will help us determine whether the issue is related to dynamic content rendering, JavaScript execution timing, or a conflict with caching or optimization.

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team

    Hello @Jacomijn,

Your website is currently not loading due to some issues on your server.

You may try the following solution:
Switch the CSS Print Method to Internal Embedding. Elementor injects the style scripts directly into the HTML of each page using inline tags.

For more information, please visit: https://elementor.com/help/changes-dont-appear-online/

Additionally, we believe you can achieve a consistent design across all your category archive pages by using the “No Conditions” and multiple templates approach, combined with the Dynamic Tags functionality.

Once you set the “Archive Shop Page” condition, the design will be applied to all shop, product category, and product tag archive pages. Furthermore, in some widgets within the editor, you can use dynamic tags (https://developers.elementor.com/docs/dynamic-tags/).

    For example:

    https://gyazo.com/2876d79adb0468fb77ccfbeedf5c8040

If you are looking for specific configuration options for the product category page, please provide more details, including the correct wp-admin access (check it before attaching in your reply) and we will be happy to assist you further.
