    Hi there,

When I try to edit a product description with elementor, it appears an error 500. I’ve checked everything elementor says. When disabling PRO Elements, it works nicely again, so I think PRO Elements is causing it.

It happens with the demo products but also if I add a new one. FYI: I have the Online Courses demo.

Also, I’ve checked the Patches section and there is none available.

In private content area is what appears when I check the Error:

    Could you please check?

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello @luneprint

The issue was originally reported for the Elementor Pro plugin, and you are using the free version, “PRO Elements,” which shares the same configuration. Therefore, we can apply the necessary changes to the PRO Elements plugin accordingly. The solution is described in next topic -> https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/30897.

If you need our assistance, please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Kind regards, Jack Richardson

    Hi Jack,

Thank you for your quick reply, I’ve applied the solution from this topic https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/30897. and it works now.

Just a quick question, do I have to make those changes everytime I update the plugin?

    Thank you.

    Hello @luneprint,

    Thank you for reaching out.

As the Elementor PRO/PRO Elements plugin does not currently include this improvement in its code, we recommend implementing it manually. Alternatively, you may choose to enable all widgets via the Element Manager (https://elementor.com/help/element-manager/). Please note, however, that enabling all widgets may prevent the error from occurring but could also impact your website’s loading speed.

Kindly choose the solution that best suits your needs.
Please note that this issue is not related to our theme’s code.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team
