    Just updated to version 3.3. By now, it seams that images load completely but there are still these errors:
    http://www.bilder-upload.eu/show.php?file=12f709-1508324878.jpg

    The Type error appears only at variable products.

    Just checked with version 3.1 – the error message and the problem with half loaded images is still there :/ As said, it happens without any system – sometimes it works but sometimes not.
    I’ve uploaded a video to show the bug in private content.

    Just checked version 3.1 but the provided fix was not taken into the update. So I have to do it manually again. Could you please make sure that it is fixed in the next update? Thank you!

    Yay that did the trick, thank you so much!
    Could you imagine to include the provided code in the next update?

    I can not edit my post (still the same problem in this forum, it says “You cannot create new topics.”), so I have to correct my post here: The code I’ve replaced is:
    $subject = 'You have been contacted by ' . $name;
    with
    $subject = $post_title;

    Great thank you! Hope that this will fix my image load problem too. It seems like there is something like a timeout where something blocks the rendering…

    Laranz, YOU ARE MY HERO OF THE DAY!!! Thank you soo much! That did the trick, even without comment the code at line 624. So great! Can you forward it so that it will be fixed in the next update?
    And would you mind to have a look at another big problem I am facing since using Royal theme, I have posted it here: https://www.8theme.com/topic/sometimes-product-images-are-not-loaded-completely/
    Again, thank you!!

    I wrote the whole time with a guy from my hosting provider. In the end, he had no idea how to fix it because he says its theme related. Everything is configured correctly.

    So I tried to delete the favicon from the etheme options panel and uploaded it via the wordpress customizer (Design > Customizer), but the error was still there. Then I switched to Storefont theme and the error was gone. So it really has something to do with your theme, especially with the file plugins.js, that the error links to (line 477).
    For now, I’ve uploaded the image to the main domain (not the subdomain) to eliminate the error but I would prefer to leave it at the subdomain. So if you could have a look at this file, this would be great…thank you 🙂

    They just told me that this is beyond their support and they cannot help me with this. They said I should leave the favicon on the main domain, but this it not what I want :/ I tried the following code, but without succes:

    <FilesMatch "\.(gif|png|jpe?g|svg|svgz|ico|webp)$">
    SetEnvIf Origin ":" IS_CORS
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*" env=IS_CORS
    </FilesMatch>

    <FilesMatch "\.(ttf|ttc|otf|eot|woff|font.css|css)$">
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
    </FilesMatch>

    Really dont know what to do now 🙁

    I uploaded the favicon and the logo in the same domain – the error is gone – thank you! Cant you tell me how to edit htaccess? Not sure if my hosting providers can help me with this…

    I checked and got this problem only with Royal theme, also with all other plugins disabled. I am sure that it comes from zoom.js because everytime it happens, there is this error in console: TypeError: d.dp is undefined zoom.js (line 24, col 262)
    I am sure that fixing this would solve my problem but as I am not a developer, I dont know what to do now. As said, it happens coincidentally…

    Hm i did so, but the error is still there. Also added jpg just to see if this helps but unfortunately not. Cleared all caches…:/

    Yes, there is W3Total Cache enabled. I added your code and it works, thank you very much!

    Ok thank you very much. My favicon is on a subdomain, so this seems to be the reason. In my htaccess there is this part of code:

    <FilesMatch ".(eot|ttf|otf|woff)">
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
    </FilesMatch>

    Do I have to add png (my favicon is png) to the FilesMatch list? Or what do I have to do now to fix this? I am not a developer, so any help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

    I am subscribing to this topic too as I plan to go for http/2 too tonight. Or is your theme not compatible with http/2 so that I should wait with this step?

    As I did not get any answer, I just added width="420" height="420" to the hover img tag in content-product.php. That solved the GTMetrix advice but I guess that this is not the best solution, right? What would you suggest?

    Got it. Somehow my custom code to output the custom field was causing the x-transformation. Outputted it now as shortcode and that did the trick…

    Thank you, but unfortunately the x is still transformed. Tried it with a big X but that did not help either (the big X is not transformed but it has to be a small x to work)…so weird, I really dont understand what happend here and would like to know if its theme related or not…will do some more tests but maybe you know another solution?

    I solved this by adding only “media.mydomain.com/myimage” (without .jpg) as hover image and then adding this code to content-product.php:
    <img src="<?php echo apply_filters( 'the_content', get_post_meta( $post->ID, 'hover_img', true ) )."-420x420.jpg";?>"
    I know that this is really bad coding, so if you have any idea why the “x” is tranformed, I would prefer to fix this and use the link to the scaled image instead. Thank you..

    This is so weird, it does the same here in this forum. I am typing an small “x” and after sending my message it shows this: ×

    I wanted to solve this by adding link to the scaled image (media.mydomain.com/myimage-420×420.jpg) as hover image, but when I do this, the “x” in 420X420 is transformed in an “×” and that causes that the url doesnt work. This is a really weird behavior. Do you have any idea how to fix this x-issue?
    Many thanks!

    Ok but this will take a few hours as I am not at the computer right now. Isnt it possible to post the required changes here, so others can profit too?
    Thank you.

    Just noticed that my customizations are not good as it grabs the full size image instead of the shop catalog size…So any help how to fix this is a clean way would be perfect. Thank you.

    I fixed it by changing the following code in content-product.php line 83:

    From:
    <img src="<?php echo $hoverImg['url']; ?>"...
    To:
    <img src="<?php echo apply_filters( 'the_content', get_post_meta( $post->ID, 'hover_img', true ) );?>"...

    But thats weird. It should be possible without any customizations…

    Unfortunately, there is no possibility to recreate the problem, it happens without any system. I am using firefox..
