    Sorry for the delay in this reply. So I just go to wp-content/themes/royal/framework/woo.php and edit the code section from 539 to 566 to change every mention of Brands to Speakers?

    My apologies for the delayed reply. I’m not getting notifications of your replies to me email.

    So are you saying the css should be the following?

    .product-list .post-type-archive-product .main-products-loop .product-list .text-center {width:70%!important}
    .product-list .post-type-archive-product .main-products-loop .product-list .product-image-wrapper {width:19%!important}
    @media only screen and (max-width: 768px){
    .product-list .post-type-archive-product .main-products-loop .product-list .product-image-wrapper {width:100%!important}
    .product-list .post-type-archive-product .main-products-loop .product-list .text-center {width:100%!important}}

    My apologies for the delay. Yes I want to change the Brands taxonomy into one called Speakers. So not just on the front end display, but in the dashboard, and throughout any references to it in the code. How can I do that?

    Brian, my apologies for the very late reply. I thought I had replied to this shortly after your last reply, but it looks like I did not.

    So….your last code worked great. Please note, the site is now at preachnet.com/freeindeed, not at freeindeed.preachnet.com

    I have another problem now though. While your code accomplished what I needed for the list view of the shop page at http://preachnet.com/freeindeed/sermons/, it has also made the image thumbnails on the grid view 1/5 of the width of the each image section, which makes them tiny.

    So, what css can I use to ensure that the code you just gave me only applies to the list view, but not to the grid view?

    Thanks,
    Rob

    Yes it’s working now.

    I’d like to also change the column widths on the List layout of the the shop page, which is at http://freeindeed.preachnet.com/sermons/

    I’d like the left column with the product image to be 1/5, and the right column with production description text to be 4/5.

    Which file and lines do I edit to achieve that?

    Thanks,
    Rob

    It looks like the code you put in is the same as what I entered. Had I done something wrong, or was it just caching the previous page?

    I am using your child theme, so I added wp-content/themes/royal/woocommerce/content-single-product.php to the child theme and make your suggested edits there, but it had not effect on the site.

    I then removed it from the child theme and made the same edits to the parent theme’s wp-content/themes/royal/woocommerce/content-single-product.php, but it still had no effect on the site.

    I’ve pasted the file below in private. Can you please let me know how to achieve my desired column widths on the single product page?

    Thanks,
    Rob

    Awesome. Sounds good. Great theme either way, though.

    Ok. But I must say that I am surprised that a theme as good as Royal doesn’t have a feature in theme options to at least set the font color and font type of the page titles.

    Most other themes have that feature. I know it’s easy to do with CSS, but just saying I assumed It would be in theme options.

    Will that be added in a future update?

    Thanks,
    Rob

    But as the screenshot says, I guess I can just change css of menu background, yes?

    OK thanks. So the related products or upsales I set in Product > Edit only shows in the cart?

    I don’t necessarily want to upsell anything, and the related products I want to suggest are not in the same category as the product whose pay they are on.

    Specifically, this site is selling oils and candles. Oils are one category and candles are another category.

    There are also different fragrances, which are available for candles and oils. So if someone is buying a Myrrh candle, I want to suggest that they also buy a Myrrh oil.

    So would the best way to be to create another category called Myrrh, and would that make the related products show on the single product page?

    Thanks. I know how to add custom css. I just didn’t know if there was a way to do it in theme options.

    Also, for header styles that have tworows (like header style 12), can we have one background color for one row, and another background color for the other row?

    Thankls,
    Rob

    Ah. OK. Will do. I thought there was a setting in theme options for it.

    Robert,

    I understand that I can use 3rd party plugins, like Ninja popups, but I was just asking if the popups that come with Royal could do the same thing natively. I guess not, correct?
