Related Products not showing like in demo

Your demo has Related Products under the main content like here: http://keministries.com/shop/accessories/fashion-demo-accessories-5/

My theme options are set to display Related Products. See here: http://awesomescreenshot.com/00a4oqxa3e

But Related Products are not showing on the new products I am adding, as you can see here:
http://keministries.com/shop/anointing-oil/myrrh-anointing-oil/

I do have Linked Products > Cross Sells set up on the Product Page, as you can see here: http://awesomescreenshot.com/06b4oqxk22

So how do I get the Related Products to show below the product info on the product page? Is it not with Cross Sells in Linked Products?

Please advise.

Hello,

Cross-sell products that you set are displayed only on Cart page. To have related products shown you need add up-sells.
Also related products are loaded from one category. As I see the product “Myrrh Anointing Oil” is added to the category “Anointing Oil” and it’s the only product in this category. So you need add more products to the categories to have related products shown.

I don’t necessarily want to upsell anything, and the related products I want to suggest are not in the same category as the product whose pay they are on.

Specifically, this site is selling oils and candles. Oils are one category and candles are another category.

There are also different fragrances, which are available for candles and oils. So if someone is buying a Myrrh candle, I want to suggest that they also buy a Myrrh oil.

So would the best way to be to create another category called Myrrh, and would that make the related products show on the single product page?

As you can see:

Related products can not be specified in the admin, but can be influenced by grouping similar products in the same category or by using the same tags.

Hello,

Cross-sells are shown on the Cart page and up-sells are shown on a single product page with the title “You may also like”.
