So this worked initially, but since the recent update, it no longer works. Ajax add to cart for simple products is turned off, yet, the page doesn’t redirect to the cart page, and some features are broken as if it were enabled again. The page just refreshes when a product is added to the cart, and then displays a green message saying the product was added. Is this a theme issue?

I have already tried clearing caches, and it did not fix the issue.

It doesn’t work on chrome, or safari for me on desktop and mobile devices. I have cleared the caches on both browsers as you directed and still nothing. Could you elaborate on your suggestion? Perhaps I misunderstood.

This will sound dumb, but I figured it out. Seems it was due to an extension on chrome. I deactivated that extension, and it worked. I think the extension is called Dark Reader, and what it was doing was injecting CSS on the element to set the background-image property to none.
