    Thank you Olga

That matches what I’m seeing too. I’ve tried my hosting provider again but they aren’t keen to help further so I’m trying a work around whereby I’ve created a number of database users with the same password and each time a query is made it uses a different user at random. That way I’m hoping to increase the 75,000 limit enough for it not to be a problem. I can’t help thinking that it may be a problem with the way their database is set up as initially it was causing a couple of my websites to go to the initial install screen (both websites were using the same database username/password combination despite being separate databases). I changed these to different usernames and that restricted the impact to the one site based upon your theme.

Anyway hopefully this change to the wp-config file will sort the issue for now.

Many helps for your support, as always it is excellent from 8Theme!

    Hi

The issues is that after modifying/updating around 5 or 6 products or making a similar number of operations the max questions limit set by my hosting provider in the MYSQL database is exceeded resulting in WordPress not being able to connect to the databse and therefore showing the initial install screen. The limit set is 75,000 queries per hour and once the current period has ended WordPress is able to connect again and all appears normal. My hosting provider is saying this is likely to be caused by a plug-in or theme scrip in error which is therefore making so many databse queries in such a short time period. I’ve not been able to see this after loading the query monitor plugin, so I just wondered if you had come across it beofr eor would be able to better interpret the information from the Query Monitor plugin?

Unfortunately there isn’t anything I can record really.

    Thanks
    Ian

    Thank you .

Is there a way to change the slideshow timing so that each slide is on the screen longer please? I can’t see a configuartion item to control it. Maybe I need to use Revolution Slider to do that rather than the WPBakery element?

    Thanks
    Ian

    Hi

Thank you, that certainly sorts out the text behind the Departments dropdown.

I’ve found that I have to build each slide seperately and not just copy a previous slide for the text to present properly.

    Thank you for your help.

    Cheers

    Hi Muhammad

Thank you for replying so promptly. I understand how to hide it or open it on click only thanks.

I’m trying to make it work better with the slider element which is configured to the right of it on the landing page. I’m finding that some of the slider text appears behind the departments menu at some screen resolutions, (e.g. iPad air in landscape, 1024) so I thought if I could change the resolution point at which the department menu is replaced by the mobile menu I could improve the situation. I’m also finding that the text has stopped appearing completely on some slides when using the iPad in portrait. Not sure why as I’ve just copied a couple of slides and changed the wording (WPBakery).

I’ve tried the revolution slider instead however the break points appear to be different again – maybe I just need to play around a little more!

    Any suggestions would be welcome.

    Thanks
    Ian
