Also check if file_get_contents() function is enabled.

I’ve enabled debug mode in wp-config.php file and an error has appeared:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION

It means you’re using low php version for your site. Please contact your hosting provider and ask to update it to 5.3 version.
Also ask them to enable allow_url_fopen function and increase values for post_max_size and upload_max_filesize functions.
