What theme version are you using?
You need update it to 1.5.2 version.

Sorry, but you have to use default Woocommerce image dimensions.
A single product image is resized accordingly to image block which max width is 570px (if sidebar is enabled), height is unlimited.
So if you want to make smaller height you need upload a wider image.

You didn’t install Woocommerce plugin.
It should be installed before the theme installation.

Try to install everything on clear WordPress. Please pay attention that Woocommerce must installed first.

We used background image https://www.8theme.com/demo/royal/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/pattern.png for the row in Visual Composer editor, edit a row in your page, select Background tab and upload the image for the row background.
