Perfect, thanks!
brilliant, thanks.
Thanks Rose, your a star!
before the update it was formatted like this:
But after the update this changed to this:
I’ve double checked this on Xstore Version: 4.21.1.
This is what my client signed off on, not the new layout.
Can it be changed back, fixed or am I stuck with the new layout for mobile?
Also, it used to be aligned to the right, so did the mobile menu.
Is it possible to get them back to the right hand side to match the desktop menu?
Can it be fixed without a work around?
here you go!
The hamburger menu is also missing on mobile!
David
this stopped working after the update to xstore5, I’ve changed it to:
<?php if (strlen($brand->description) > 145) { echo wp_specialchars_decode( substr($brand->description,0,245)).'...';} else { echo $brand->description; } ?>
1) Single Product. Problem was caused by out of date file. I have updated file. Check now.
Is there a way to do this without using a override in a child theme? I.e. having advanced custom fields.
2) Explain to me the problem with brands page in more details, please.
This seems to have fixed itself!
3) Top bar menu. Mobile menu. I have just re-added menu widget to the right top bar
Wrong menu but right spot, thanks!
There’s a new update, I’m worried about updating, same with Royal, am I going to end up needing to restyle everything again?
sorry again, my typo… I’m a bit stressed
starting to despair again, what’s happened to the top menu and the mobile menu, they are completely gone!
my mistake, try these
it’s in the private content
access detail
this is how I had the product page before the update:
https://www.designyard.com/samples/images/Design-Yard-001a-product.jpg
This is how it looks since the update:
https://www.designyard.com/product/18k-rose-gold-diamond-chapiteau-wedding-ring/
Is there an easy fix for this or do I need to start from scratch?
Similar issues on the product Category pages too.
I love you Olga!
I’m looking at it and to be honest, the amount of work to get it back to the way it was pre 5.x looks depressing.
Is it worth going back to 4.x?
fonts uploaded again and still not working.
In your screen grab there is “httpss:” where did that come from, I’ve never seen anything like this before?
I’ve scanned the db and there are no httpss references what so ever.
The fonts are all set, see:

The theme footer layout is messed up, it looks like this:
http://i.share.pho.to/12e684e6_o.png
But it used to look more like the design with some minor mods:
https://www.designyard.com/samples/images/Design-Yard-001a-1.jpg
here’s how it’s done, add this to the functions.php in the child theme:
function modus_woocommerce_catalog_orderby( $orderby ) {
unset($orderby["rating"]);
return $orderby;
}
add_filter( "woocommerce_catalog_orderby", "modus_woocommerce_catalog_orderby", 20 );
Thanks Olga,
I want the search to say exactly where it is, I just need to replace the field that pops up, I’ve put the access details below
Actually Rose, I think that customizing this will not get me a seamless look and feel. I think it’s better if I buy something similar, but where can I drop in the short-code and hide the current search field?
This is the plugin I’m looking at:

Thanks Rose, is it ok to take this code and put it into the functions.php of my child?
I’ve looked for xstore/theme-function.php but there is no such file, is this the right place?
have these options moved? I also need to remove Sort by average rating
thanks, I’ll give that a go.

Thanks Rose.
