Woopress theme update not working - by Sahilsharma_bs

Hello there,
I am trying to update my copy of woopress. The theme can be updated and then it says me to update woopress core which throws error:

Update Failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

The installed copy of theme was added by a freelancer of fiverr but we have bought our own license now.

If i make the update , delete the old woopress core and reinstall the updated plugin, my updates on some pages are getting lost and the “theme options” under WordPress shows an error:–

You are not allowed to access this page.

Please assist

Hello,

Update error appears because your theme was activated at other domain that you use it now. So, go to WooPress settings > deactivate theme and activate it again using your own purchase code. After that you’ll be able to go to Dashboard > Updates > and update theme and plugin to latest versions.
Or provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP access to your site and we’ll check and help you.

Hello sir,
I tried it but it does not seem working that way too. Many important updates are lost as well as ” theme options ” remains inaccessible.

Please assist with the update once.

Hello,

1) Log in to your Cloudflare account to allow to flush CDN cache http://prntscr.com/rs9qeb
2) Provide us with FTP access.

Thanks. I see you people did make a child theme. The update seems successful. I cleared cache from cloudflare

Do you people still need access to ftp ?

If you cleared the cache and everything works fine then we don’t need access.
