Hi, i need to update Royal theme.
It’s currenty:
ROYAL – 8theme WordPress themeVersion: 1.7.1

Couldn’t find original purchase details, so I just bought the theme again and downloaded it. The original theme was titled “Royal” but the new one is titled “royal-core”. Looking at the contents inside, they are quite different.

Usually, i just copy the new theme files and paste them over the original. But something doesn’t look right here. It’s missing all the php files and woocommerce folders.

Can you please confirm steps needed to update this Theme. Thank you.

Hello,

Royal Core is the plugin, it’s not the theme. So, to update theme to the latest version you need to install theme updated archive and then install Royal core plugin, Redux plugin and CMB2 plugin. If you provide us with temporary WP Dashboard and FTP access to your site we’ll be able to check and help you with the update.
