Theme versions wont install - by xdigital

Hello I have tried to install the travel theme version but is not possible it tells me success but when i GO TO THE home page its not the demo version is actually the store

Thank you, but can you tell me what the problem was if I want to switch theme look I wont be able because changing themes looks is not working you patch the problem by adding the template manually thank you for this, but for example how do I get other sample pages like https://www.8theme.com/demo/royal/?page_id=5074

Hello @xdigital,

“FAQ” page is included in base demo content that is already installed. You can find this page in Pages section.
Seems server configurations don’t allow to install templates automatically, so you have to install them manually. We’ve sent the archive with templates to your email address. Please check it.

Thank you, Eva. I found the template which is the front page only. May I ask whether I have to build all pages by myself? I assume it comes with the installation of template. Let me know if I have wrong assumption here.

About the imagery on the front page – is it possible for me to change it to my picture? If yes, could you kindly advise how to do so?

The button, “Shop Now” – Can I change the text here, like “Watch Video”?

Hello @WT,

You had demo pages in wp-admin panel trash. I’ve restored them and now they are present in Pages section.
Please check.

You can changes images to yours, to change slider images go to Revolution Slider settings > edit slides for “Creative” slider and click “Change Image” button in “Main/Background Image” field:

Also to change “Shop Now” button you need edit slides.

Dear Eva,

Thanks for your help. I found the cover page and other pages. However, I am not sure why the demo content on 3 particular pages, including Home, Blog and Portfolio, are missing. I cannot see any layout there. Could you kindly check and ensure the demo content in place? It’s absolutely fine if upload the whole template again required. I do not mind to do all changes/update again.

I am very sorry for asking help again and again. But I am brand new to usage wordpress template. This is really a learning journey. Appreciate your help.

Hello @WT,

I’ve reimported demo data. Now it’s working correctly. Please check. Blog page doesn’t show anything because you don’t have posts in Posts section of wp-admin panel, create them.
