    Hi,

I want to add static block in place of standard footer on the shop page. We have footers using static blocks on all other pages, but despite a static block being selected for the shop page in 8theme layout options, the standard footer layout is loaded. Please let me know how to use a static block instead.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, Shop page (and all the children pages: product categories, products), Blog page use default footer only. At present custom footer and prefooter could be used for simple pages only. I send request to our developers and if option to use custom footer for the shop page could be added you’ll see it in one of the next updates.

    Regards

    Hello,

I’d like to add my vote to this – having the same overall footer combination on all pages keeps the same look and feel, which is key for branding.

It can even be important legally, depending on how footers are being used.

    Thanks,

    R

    Hello,

We’ll add this feature in 3.0 update.
