Hello,
I would like to request a custom Product Categories widget for my XStore theme that matches the exact design and layout of the current XStore “Filter Products by Categories” widget—including the search bar, checkbox list, spacing, and typography.
However, I need it to use the WooCommerce Product Categories functionality so it supports native options such as:
“Only show children of the current category”
“Show hierarchy”
The widget should work as follows:
On parent category pages → show only that category’s child categories.
On the shop page → show only top-level categories.
If no categories are available → hide the widget automatically.
The final result should retain the exact XStore visual style and responsiveness, but with WooCommerce category filter logic.
Once completed, please add the widget to my Shop Sidebar so it displays on all shop and category pages.
