    Hello, @Resin,

You can rename the child theme, but do not change the name of the parent theme. Check this topic – https://www.8theme.com/topic/failed-to-update-the-update/ You can re-name the parent theme later when work on the site will be finished, but we won’t recommend it because you won’t be able to use auto-update in the future and need to update the theme manually.

    Also, check – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/108-white-label-branding-plugin

    Regards 8Themes Team.

    Hello, @Resin,

Did you check our answers in this topic – https://www.8theme.com/topic/failed-to-update-the-update/ ?
Sorry, but we are not responsible for custom renaming you did.
If you do any changes in parent theme files, it is your responsibility.
    Please do not rename themes.
    We hope for your understanding.

    Regards
