    Hello XStore Support Team,

We are running XStore on big-shotter-fireworks.co.uk (WooCommerce). Google is crawling URLs with the fgf_gift_product and fgf_rule_id parameters on our blog and content pages. Example:

    https://big-shotter-fireworks.co.uk/fireworks-vs-sparklers-whats-the-difference/?fgf_gift_product=%25s&fgf_rule_id=%25s

The parameter values are unformatted placeholders (%s), so these links are being output incorrectly in the page markup. They create duplicate versions of our posts, waste crawl budget and harm our SEO.

    Required changes

Stop XStore from outputting links containing fgf_gift_product and fgf_rule_id parameters on posts, pages, shop and category pages.
Add rel=”nofollow” to any such link that cannot be removed.
Apply the same fix to any other filter or action parameters the theme generates as crawlable links, including add-to-cart, fgf_master_log, view_mode, view_mode_smart and et_columns-count.
Release this in a theme update, or send us the exact code snippet or filter so it is applied on our site.

This is in addition to our earlier ticket about ?add-to-cart= links.

Environment: XStore (latest version), WooCommerce, Elementor, NitroPack.

    Hello @pckeycallout,

The request you posted is not related to our theme but is instead associated with the plugin you are using on your website, which generates such URLs in your website content. You can find more information here: https://gyazo.com/1604e3bb63b5d9951e124abb06ac2bd1.

    Best regards,
