    Hello,

    I purchased your theme, installed as advised and when i “activated” the theme, the entire site now only shows a white blank page, HELP!

    It was a brand new site, luckily no content yet, hopefully you can help!

    Hello, @christoph,

    Try to disable third-party plugins, very likely one of them caused issue. Provide also link to your site and admin panel credentials.

    I can’t get to the admin section to disable the plugin’s, possibly have to delete the theme or restart the database, my gut is telling me if it is this much work to get your theme to work, that it’s going to be a major pain longterm.

    I’m concerned that if it is this difficult to get the theme to work, that once it is working, and i add a plugin, the it’s going to crash, It’ might be best to just refund the money i paid, and i’ll pick another theme that will work better and won’t have as many issues.

    I have uninstalled the theme and reinstalled it after i “deactivated” all the plugins, it is still not working. Getting frustrated.

    Hello,

    We are very sorry for inconveniences you faced, but problem was caused by your PHP version. To make our theme work it should be no less than 5.3. At present you are using 5.2.17. Could you contact with your hosting provider to update PHP?

    Regards,

    This whole process, has been a very difficult one, I do not want to have to be calling my hosting company everything something changes, I have read through the other post and there are quite alot of people who have “issues” related to your themes, I do not want the theme, nor the problems that will come with it, I’m happy to charge back to paypal if you will not provide a refund, your call.

    Hello,

    If you view the topics, you’ll see that some amount of problems aren’t related to the bugs in the theme. Only the clients who used 5.2 php version had the same issues as you. But the problems were resolved as soon as they updated php version. If you don’t want to contact your host we can do this for you. Please specify what hosting provider you’re using and their contacts.
    Also we do our best to help our clients and pay attention to any problems or difficulties they experience. Choosing our theme you can always be sure that you’ll receive a reply from us
    any time until all questions are resolved.

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    I have updated the php to 5.4, but you are not understanding me, I no longer want your theme, i need something that will work right out of the box, and will be able to handle all the 3rd party plugins i want to put on it, not have to have you fix it, or tell me to deactivate the plugins, or frankly to wait until GMT time for you to begin working on it.

    I want a refund,plain and simple, if you will not give it to me, I won’t go quietly.

    Your call. the next communication should either be yes we will refund your $ or not we won’t. You decide, I do not want to go back and forth, this is wasting my time, I want a refund for the theme i purchased that does not work as described.

    Hello,

    We’re always glad to answer all your questions and provide some help if you decide to use our theme. If you want refund then you have to contact Envato support as such queries are handled by their team.

    I am still waiting for Envato, this whole process is quite disappointing.

    While i’ve been waiting, i have been able to create the site to 90% of where i want it to be, but i have a bunch of issue and need help.

    I want my footer to look like this: http://www.jonathanfields.com/blog-action-day/

    I’m also wanting the main blog page to be similar to: http://www.jonathanfields.com/read/

    I also want to delete the “about Author” for each post,

    I would also like to use Disqus but don’t want a plugin to ruin whats been done.

    What can you help with?

    Hello,

    There is no option in Theme Settings to disable About Author imformation, we’ll add this function in next update. Until this happened to remove author info for each post you need add this code into custom.css file:

    .author-info, .title-alt {
        display: none;
    }

    To create custom.css find in wp-content/themes/royal default.custom.css file and rename it to custom.css.
    I have created footer similar to your example, you may improve it as you want. We used static block feature. Also check your blog page. Did you want something like that?
    Thank you.

    The blog page looks good, will this page auto populate itself or do i have to add those?

    The footer is Vertical, and I would like something Horizontal. Any help there?

    Hello,

    I used Essential Grid element to display posts. To set what will be displayed you should go to Essential Grid > find grid you use on frontend > Settings > Source > Type and Category > select Post Types, Post Categories you would like to display.
    We created footer from example you provided. What do you mean something Horizontal? Maybe provide screenshot for our better understanding and highlight what exactly you want.

    Hi

    I’ve got the same issue of a blank installation, I’ve tried all the suggestions above:

    1) uninstalled all plugins
    2) site was running php 5.3 and i’ve tried 5.4 and 5.5 with the same result

    Are there any other ways of getting the theme working?

    Thanks in advance

    Paul

    Hello @paulinskip,

    Could you please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content to check the issue?
    Thank you.
