    Hi guys, how are you?

We really dedicate a lot of time to optimize our site, we really need to get good PageSpeed Scores. The question is how? https://www.8theme.com/topic/fixing-pagespeed-issues-once-and-for-all-could-apply-to-all-8themes-themes/ We’ve follow all these items and our site still performing not good (80/100).

In particular, there are 2 very bad items:

    1. Serve scaled images

    http://prnt.sc/e6re46

All these images “is resized in HTML or CSS from 600×600 to 260×260. Serving a scaled image could save 45.4KiB (81% reduction).” are products from carrousel. I believe is part of Theme to regenerate all images for all sizes, is’nt it?

    2. Leverage browser caching

We’ve already set the expires to htaccess, but still getting problems:
    ../themes/xstore/images/drag.png (expiration not specified)
    ../extensions/revolution.extension.actions.min.js (expiration not specified)

And there are another item, but is performing better than the previously

    3. Optimize the order of styles and scripts

We’ve tried with “above the fold” plugin, but 8theme never provide us the Critical CSS, so when we activated these plugin, all the styles crash 🙁

We have a dedicated machine in Google Cloud, 4CPU with 16gb RAM, also we have CDN…. http://www.gtmetrix.com/?url=www.sexshop-kisme.com

    Thanks a lot

    Hello,

    1) Check the images from the list of scaled images and try to replace them by smaller to avoid scaling, for example https://sexshopgoogle-lhblsg2gqf.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/mercadopago-footer.jpg could be 463x33px. Unfortunately, there is no way to avoid scaling for some images such as widget product images http://prntscr.com/e82sz5 because it displays thumbnails and if you change the size of thumbnails they will be very small at single product page.

    2) It’s related to server side. Contact your server admin to get necessary results.
    3) Some elements of VC requires script blocks. We can’t remove them.

    Regards
