Global Product Search seems to be not working

Hello,
I wanted to add a few extra notes to the ticket based on more extensive testing.
While the popup search form AJAX search always returns “no results found”,
if you hit enter and go to the actual search results page, I noted the URL:

https://enduratex.site/?product_cat=0&s=ALPACA&et_search=true&post_type=product

If I manually remove only the last attribute: &post_type=product
Then search functionality immediately works just fine.

The problem here seems to be with how XStore Search is handling search request arguments and parameters.
I have no idea why very clearly named products cannot be found, but they ARE found, when that last argument is removed.
