    Do we have a “Bought Together” shortcode that I can add to a single product page made in elementor?

    Hello, Kevin,

    Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

    There are no ready shortcodes for such implementation but you may add next snippet to your child-theme/functions.php
    add_shortcode(‘etheme_child_bought_together_shortcode’, ‘etheme_bought_together’);
    and try to use the shortcode named etheme_child_bought_together_shortcode in your Elementor single product builder.

    We hope this information is helpful.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

    Well, I am not using a child theme, and to add custom themes or plugin codes I am using code snippets. However, by adding the code that you gave me in the code snippet, the shortcode didn’t work. Am I missing something?

    Hello, Kevin,

    Thank you for the response.

    To be able to give you an answer we need to take a closer look at your site.
    Please provide us with the URL, temporary wp-admin, and FTP access.
    To provide wp-admin access, you can create a new user account with administrator role via the Dashboard, and provide us with the username and password via the Private Content area.
    To create FTP access, please contact your hosting provider for assistance.

    Also, we would recommend you use the child theme. Download the child theme archive from this page – https://www.8theme.com/downloads/
    Go to Appearance > Themes > install and activate the child theme.
    Please note that the child theme does not inherit the theme options of the parent theme, if you enable the child theme, you need to import options from the parent theme.
    Go to Theme Options (when the parent theme is activated) > Import/Export > download the export file. After that activate the child theme > go to Theme Options > Import/Export > import your options and reload the page without saving! Save options only after reloading. Check your site after that, and use the child theme.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

    I have shared the requested details for the access, please check and let me know. I understand why you would recommend making edits on the child theme, but I do not make heavy changes in the theme file and most of the options I use are covered by code snippets.

    Please check and let me know if a short code is possible. Thank you.

    Hello, Kevin,

    In previous our answers we described the full implementation steps to have built-in Frequently bought together area shown on Single product based on Elementor.
    According to your needs to help you we did next steps:
    1/ Created custom snippet and added add_shortcode(‘etheme_child_bought_together_shortcode’, ‘etheme_bought_together’); -> https://gyazo.com/5313cc486fe673d292219c203eadf152
    2/ Edited Single product global template and added Shortcode element with [etheme_child_bought_together_shortcode] content inside -> https://gyazo.com/b411c06aff1e827222cc564622877200
    3/ For testing reasons we added few products as frequently bought ones for this product -> 10000Mah Mi Wireless Power Bank Essential Black, Vxn4295Gl (link in the private area) – https://gyazo.com/37f07e470fb6e9d0c3a8d443f1d7931e
    4/ Checked the frontend and here is the Frequently bought together area shown on this product -> https://gyazo.com/d575bbd0ee5a1034abedf4b55d1d40a6

    Thank you so much! I did the same as well, but for some reason, the code snippet used to auto-deactivate gave me an Ajax error.

    Anyways, Thank you for solving the issue.
