Customizing the registration and login to use phone number

Hello 8theme,

I am using your theme for my site, and I have this issue.

by default the regstration and login uses email but since my coustomers might not have email adresses I want to change the whole regstration and login process from email to phone number.

I have changed the email field to phone number on the my-account.php file but it is not registering customers now.
