Classico Installation problems - by paowillis

Hello I purchased Classico today, I´m very exited but having some issues:
I downloaded directly from Envato it was a 200 something meg,
When i tried to install through WP it just blew out! I tried tree times,
then i read the common issues from envato and it suggested to Upload manually through FTP, and I did,
When i went to the theme Installer in WP it says that i cannot find the main theme only the child theme…
So i Came back to 8theme and acces my account and in downloads i found the Classico theme, so i downloaded again, it was only 23 megs,
I insstalled it through wp installer, it said everything ok, but when i tried to activate it i gave me this error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/c/i/n/cintamexico/html/shopcintaonline/wp-content/themes/classico/framework/woo.php on line 97
And it blew the site, so i deleted maually the theme trhough ftp, so i can acces again…

So I can´t install..
Please help!

Something more! 🙁
After the crash, and manually deleting the theme i was able to go back to wpadmin,
But not to the site! and can´t activate any theme…
just borken..

Hello,

The error “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION” means you’re using low php version. You need ask your hosting provider support to increase php version to 5.3. If the issue persists after that please provide us with WP Dashboard panel and FTP credentials in private content.

Hello Jack, thanks for your reply
I did as you asked and Godaddy support increased to PHP 5.3 and also increased in php.ini max upload to 128 m
So i Upladed via FTP the Theme again and tried to setup.
after Activation it gave me the following message:

array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘yourtheme_woocommerce_image_dimensions’ not found or invalid function name in /home/content/c/i/n/cintamexico/html/shopcintaonline/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 496

Also it showed a window asking to install some plugins, This theme requires the following plugins: 8theme Post Types, Revolution Slider, Ultimate addons for Visual Composer and Visual Composer.

This theme recommends the following plugins: Essential grid, Master Slider, Screets Chat and WishList.

Begin installing plugins | Dismiss this notice

i tried to follow the link but it came to Blank page, since then i can´t acces the website or the themes module, i can only go to wp desktop..
Do you need the access?

The problem was caused by WP Super Cache plugin. I’ve disabled it. Also I’ve installed base demo content for you. Please check the site now.

Thanks you for your help, in setting up..

Now i cant change logo

I’ve changed the logo image in 8theme options/general/header settings/logo image AND Logo image for Fixed and Responsive header, but the first logo at the top of the home page still the Classico one…
I can see my logo on fotter and other pages but not in the main page

When you scroll the logo is there but not in the main page

please help

thanks for your help

I found out where to change the main logo in the main page menu, once you uploaded in the theme options, in the header customization you need to go to pages and main mage, and delete classico logo, THEN it will show the logo you updated in Header, I saw someone else asked the same question, maybe this would help..

Another Question.
How do i activate the second image on hover in the products?

Hello,

Please go to Products > edit a product and find “Hover image” option at the bottom of the page editor.
Then go to 8Theme Options > E-Commerce > Products Page Layout > Product Image Hover > Swap.
