    Hi,

When I add a product in the cart, it still remains empty. Please check the screenshot.

    Hi,

I cleared cache and checked on incognito mode as well on Chrome and Safari. The issue is still there.

    Not sure why it’s happening.

I have added the URL in question below

Could it be that this error appears because of this

    Hello,

Please give me a bit more information about this code https://www.dropbox.com/s/wyf8lpr3v4xa3cd/Error.jpg?dl=0
Also, try to disable all 3rd-party plugins.
+ check if this works fine when the Storefront theme is enabled.

    Regards

    Hi,

I simply took a screenshot of the code running behind a specific product. It might not mean anything. I just thought it might help you.

However, it seems the issue got resolved itself. But there’s a new issue which has come.

I added a product in the cart and when I clicked checkout, it says the shopping cart is empty. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3m2lfq2zl7ikjxp/shoppint-cart.jpeg?dl=0.

I’m not able to visit the checkout page.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the reply.
Could you, please, check the problem with the default WC theme – Storefront and without activated 3rd-party plugins?
I do not have this problem on my test site. We should be sure that the problem relates to our theme to be able to help.

    Regards

Wow! This resolved by itself too. That’s strange!

I wonder why the problem came?

    Hello,

I am glad that the problem was solved, but not sure about the reason, likely it was a cache problem.

    Regards

This is really annoying. The issue is back again.

    1. I add a product in the cart
    2. The cart section on upper right corner gets updated.
    3. I click on Checkout and it redirects me to a page saying, Your cart is empty.

After running some tests again, it seems I don’t have this problem in Chrome. Is it possible that a cookie is mixing somewhere?

I have cleared cache for all browsers but I’m still getting this issue on Safari, IE and Edge.

I have disabled the plugins as you advised above and still I’m facing this issue. Can’t figure out what the problem is. Really need your help.

    Hello,

You use the latest version of woocommerce, so I would recommend you to update the theme to 3.8.1 version. Please let us know if the problem will be solved after the update.

If I do that, the whole CSS will get damaged. i will need to redo the whole site again 🙁

If your custom css code was added in style.css file of child theme you won’t lose them. If the custom code was added in custom.css file of the parent theme, create a backup of files.
Also, you may create a staging site (the full copy of live site). There you will be able to do all required updates. Make sure that everything is ok and only after that update everything on the production site.

If all this is because of the woocommerce update then I have a backup of the old woocommerce plugin. I can upload it back via FTP rather than risking the design on updating the theme.

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay due to the weekends.
As a rule, we recommend our clients to have latest versions of theme and plugins. Also, the staging site is useful for many reasons (you may use 1 license for the 1 dev domain and 1 live domain).
Also, I’ve checked your site one more time in different browsers and the cart is not empty after adding a product. Please check it from your side and let me know if the problem is solved.

    Regards
