Cannot update the Royal Core plugin! - by Main Street Media

    I’m unable to update the Royal Core plugin to version 1.1.1 after the latest Royal Theme update, I get the following message when trying to update:

    ” Update Failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature”

    Please advise.

    Hello,

    Go to Plugins > disable and remove the Royal core plugin. After that go to Appearance > Install plugins and install the plugin again. You’ll get an updated version.
    Or you can update the plugin manually via FTP – https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/Plugins/Plugins_Update
