    SHOP

I need to remove the image, text, and button at the top of the page. When I click on the shop page in the dashboard and then click edit with elementor I get an alert stating “Sorry, the content area was not found in your page.” “You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current t emplate, in order for Elementor to work on this page”

I have found that I can edit this image in the static blocks section. However when I remove the code nothing changes, the image and everything else still shows.

    Footer

I have edited the static block for ‘footer – lingerie’ but it hasn’t changed the footer, it is still showing the default footer. The block ID has not been changed, this is still the same block ID in the widget. I can’t understand why its not changing. Even when I preview the page in the static block it is not showing the changes I have made.

    Sidebar

In Chrome, the sidebar is disappearing from the ‘shop’ page and from just one of my categories ‘stockings’. It is there when I first click on the page but then disappears after 2-3 seconds.

    Homepage images

(suspender belts, Girdles, Panties) These are uploading blurry. I have uploaded them to the correct size but they are blurry.

    Hello,

Thanks for using our theme and for contacting us.
1, 2/ Enable Elementor page builder for the Static blocks in the Elementor settings https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/47-static-blocks then you will be able to edit content of static blocks using Elementor.
Go to Theme Options > Woocommerce > Shop > Shop page layout > Shop Page Banner Content > Text tab, you can delete shortcode of static block or change.
3/ Describe the problem with the sidebar in more detail, provide a video or screenshots. Use Gayzo or Lightshot screenshot tools to make and share screenshots.
4/ Check settings of banner elements, for example https://prnt.sc/1wq4r61
Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Regards

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

I have been through your answers and can now edit the static blocks, thanks.
The side bar also seems to be okay now, but Filter by Colour only seems to appear in ‘Holdup Stockings’ category. How do I get this to display on all category pages?

Also on ‘Shop All’ page, please tell me how i can change the ‘Sort menu’ to make ‘Sort by Latest’ the default setting instead of ‘default sorting’ as it is now?

    4. I see your image of ‘edit banner with mask’ but i have been through all the customization options and cannot see where the page you show is found so I can check the settings of banner elements for the homepage. Please let me know where i find these editing options.

    Hello,

Filter by attributes displays on the categories where products have the mentioned attribute in the product settings https://prnt.sc/1xe3pc6 If the category does not have products with the attribute then filter does not appear because there is no what to filter.

To change the products order go to Theme Options > WooCommerce > Product Catalog > choose the sorting order.

    4) Go to Pages > edit home page using Elementor page builder and click on the banner element.

    Regards

    Hi,

Thanks. All products have colour attributes set up so the colour filter should show in every category. It shouldn’t just be displaying in the one category. The product database was imported from another website using xstore so all attributes were already set up.

Is there a setting that needs to be checked or something?

    Thank you, ashley

    Hello,

Do your products use global attributes https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/#step-2-add-attributes-to-use-for-variations or custom ones? Because filter works only with the global attributes. Provide us with WP Dashboard access to your site and with link to product category that does not display filter by color.

They use global attributes for colour. It doesn’t make sense that they only appear in one category. They all work okay on the website we copied the product database from. I attach the login details.

    Please contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

You have 2 color attributes https://prnt.sc/1xq0lj5
One of them uses color swatches. The other one – nope. So, if you use 8theme Swatches filter it displays only colors of the attribute that uses swatches. To show filter by attribute that does not use swatches add the Filter by attribute widget https://prnt.sc/1xq0vnl

    Regards
