After downloading the file, it should be renamed the visual-composer v 4.2.3.zip (at time of writing current version was 4.2.3) and only then open the file. In the archives there are three files, including a folder with documents and direct plugin file js_composer.zip, who need to download and install. After activating the plugin on the site go Settings --> Visual Composer to the page settings in which five tabs. On the tab General Settings there are given three sets of parameters:

• Content Types - built-in data types when creating and editing which can be used visual designer pages Visual Composer - lists all registered data types. To select, you must tick the box and click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
