On websites where version 9.6.3 of the theme is installed, it does not detect the update to 9.6.4, even though this version has already been released. Sites that have not been updated for a long time only offer an update up to 9.6.3 at most. What could be the reason for this?

    Hello,

Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Best Regards,

I’ll provide full access for one site. Then let me know what I need to do on the others so it sees the latest updates.

    Please contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello, st7878,

Thank you for providing access. We have updated your theme and plugin. It seems that the issue was caused by some server-side caching.

I can update everything manually myself 🙂
Thanks, but I have several websites there. I was expecting you to explain what needs to be done so that the server serves the latest versions of updates.

In this case, you need to clear the cache several times via Dashboard -> Updates -> Check again This will help if the issue is related to the WordPress cache. However, in your situation, it appears to be a server-side cache, which needs to be cleared directly on the server.

You can also update the plugin through XStore -> Plugin Installer (this section has its own theme cache, which refreshes every 2 days). After that, a notice about the theme update will appear.

Yes, but the theme was released on December 25, 2025, and today is January 13, 2026. The 2-day cache refresh period has clearly passed a long time ago.

I have also checked this on several other websites, and each of them is hosted on a different hosting provider:

    https://hottabych.ua/

    https://new.consalco.dp.ua/

    https://www.stromo.com.ua/

All of these sites see the maximum available version as 9.6.3. Moreover, https://hottabych.ua/ does not see any updates at all, even though it is running version 9.6. I assume that in this particular case it might be related to the WordPress version.

My question is: have you tested this on your side? Specifically, if you install version 9.6.3 from scratch, does it detect the update to the newer version correctly?

    Best regards

    Hello, st7878,

We test all updates before release. If you could provide us with admin access to one of these websites, we will check this issue. Could you please confirm that you have cleared the WordPress cache via

Dashboard -> Updates -> Check again

Also, could you let us know the dates when this check was last performed?

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team
