    Hi,

since the last update (xstore v.9.6.1 and xstore core 5.6.1) I have 2 errors.

    1) on my wordpress store I get the following:

We are unable to connect to the XStore API with the XStore theme. Please check your SSL certificate or white lists.

I have checked the white list and SSl and both are okay.

    2) On my security I am getting a message, saying that the following file is suspicious and is using a dangerous php:

    wp-content/plugins/et-core-plugin/app/controllers/admin/import.php

    Any suggestions please?

    Hello, Neville,

Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Best Regards,

    Hello,

    We appreciate your prompt response.

    1. Our system has detected an issue on the server side. Please see the screenshot: https://prnt.sc/S8wK8SwHKVuq
You need to contact your hosting provider and ask them to fix the error related to the “API server connection.”

Please get back to us once the issue is resolved on the server side, and we will perform an additional check.

    2. Regarding the file wp-content/plugins/et-core-plugin/app/controllers/admin/import.php, could you please provide screenshots or a link to the page where the mentioned issue is still visible?

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

Any news on why my security is saying that the et-core-plugin, as previously mentioned, is suspicious and has a dangerous php?

    Hello, Neville,

The scanner may have reacted to the file import.php because it contains functions that automatically add content to the website (this occurs exclusively during the import process).
