    Hello

This isn’t particularly urgent, as I see there are more pressing support tickets from others, so no need to respond to this one any time soon.

On an existing site I just updated to XStore v8.0, I noticed that the Revolution Slider I placed on the Shop page at the top is no longer displayed and I get this error in its place:

    Oops...
You have some jquery.js library include that comes after the Slider Revolution files js inclusion.
    To fix this, you can:
        1. Set 'Module General Options' -> 'Advanced' -> 'jQuery & OutPut Filters' -> 'Put JS to Body' to on
        2. Find the double jQuery.js inclusion and remove it

I’m not sure if this error is referring to a setting I should access and fix myself, or is it referring to an error introduced with the update?

    Please see private content area.

Note – the Slider on the Home Page appears to be fine, it’s just the slider on the Shop page.

    regards
    Robert

    Quick update…

I’ve been searching and found this related support ticket:

    https://www.8theme.com/topic/a-couple-of-questions-about-the-theme/

On Q3 from the above link, the answer from Olga suggests it may be cache related. I use Cloudflare CDN and have already cleared the Cloudflare and browser cache. Maybe XStore V8 has introduced some sort of additional cache? I’m seeing something called “Files Generator” in v8, which I did not notice before. Is this maybe causing an issue?

OK, I think I solved it.

previously I was playing around with the Slider Revolution Global settings, as per one of the suggestions.

This time, I went into the Slideshow itself and changed the settings there, not in Global.

Slider > Settings > Advanced > jQuery & Output Filters > Put JS to Body = ON

    (clear all caches after saving)

I’ll close this ticket tomorrow… hope it helps someone else.
