    To address your query, updating the XStore parent theme will not directly update your child theme. The child theme is designed to inherit the functionality and styling of the parent theme while allowing you to make customizations without losing them during updates. When you update the XStore parent theme, the child theme will continue to function as it is, inheriting the updated features and fixes from the parent theme. https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/

    However, we recommend taking a full backup of your website before proceeding with any updates to ensure your data and customizations are safe. If you have made any modifications directly to the parent theme files, those changes will be overwritten during the update. In such cases, it’s best to transfer those modifications to the child theme before updating.

    Ensure that your web hosting environment meets the minimum requirements for the XStore theme. Please increase the memory limit as (512M) and max execution time 300 & max input vars minimum 4000 -Check the image for specific requirements here:

    We kindly request that you, Please use PHP version 8.0, 8.1 or 8.2

    For this please contact your service provider and ask them to fix it.

    After that, Please clear your browser cache and recheck again.

    2/ Please disable all (3rd) third-party plugins including (cache plugin), except required plugins on your site, and then import the demo on your site again.

    3/ Should you wish to perform the import process independently, please ensure to remove the previously imported demo content https://prnt.sc/OhdZLlrEFq5g before importing the desired version.

    If you would like to remove all product categories but are unable to find an option to remove a single category, we recommend the following steps:

    1. Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard.
    2. Go to **Products > Categories**.
    3. Hover over the category you wish to remove, and you should see a “Delete” option appear. Click on it to delete the category.
    4. Repeat this process for each category you wish to remove.

    Please note that WordPress requires at least one default category (usually “Uncategorized”). If you wish to remove all categories, you may need to rename the default category to suit your needs instead of deleting it.
